You want the old main hall to breath, but then also want to place buildings above the tracks. Doing so you basically hide a technically large station underneath the borough and the main hall becomes just another building in the borough, with no station to be seen around it ...
A bogaci mają do wyboru inne lokalizacje.
Nothing unique. Pretty boring design. what is the purpose of building on top of rail tracks? Does Stockholm really need that many buildings in that particular location? Stockholm is not as crowded as Manhattan. By removing those buildings, it saves lots of money.
@Kacper Pach "City need density." if it was that vital, way more waterfront space would be repurposed; Most cities don't need to make use of the space above the tracks of their central station ... neither Oslo, Munich, Hamburg, Frankfurt am Main, Leipzig, Gothenburg, ... in fact I can think of only a few cities which do make use of that space
@@EnjoyFirefighting stockholm is covering a lot of highways and railways with buildings because it is absolutely worth it and it also removes the barrier that the highways/railways otherwise create
The buildings above the station is probably the reason that this redesign can even be considered. Without the money from the buildings this could probably not be justified

Looks great, just feel like they should increase the capacity more while they are at it.
beautiful

Stockholm is very crowded by Swedish standards. You don't think a brand new couple of blocks dead center of a capital city will make back the money?

@@kacperpach3144 Sadly the waterfront in Stockholm is occupied by noisy and ugly highways.
