DH2020 is definitely a secret hit. The fragrance community hates it because they’re so disappointed about the iris being removed and saying that it’s terrible, but it’s a compliment magnet for me 🤷🏻♂️
Dior homme sport 2021 is actually just the same DNA as dior homme 2020, funny because I think dior originally planned to release dior homme 2020 originally as homme sport instead
I also recommend the Bvlguari Wood Neroli. It’s part of my Spring/Summer office rotation. Some other office friendly fragrances I use are: D&G Grey Guerlain Homme Guerlain Chanel Egoiste Platinum L’eau Bleue D’Issey Eau Fraiche Rochas L’Homme
Vid was made for me, so thanks. Mid 50's, businessman who likes clean, fresh, "professional" office scents that are at the same time well received by many and still compliment getters. Hard to pull all that off without getting something that smells a little too young or aggressive for the cubicles. Thanks for these suggestions!
Dior Homme 2020 is probably my signature scent, at least in professional settings (I wear it outside of professional settings also). I’ve been complemented many times with it, with one just yesterday. And that was after I’d been wearing it for a good 5-6 hours. It has great longevity on my skin. I love it as a fragrance!
I am 60 and fan of the chanel. At my age we also seek complicates from a perfum we chose to wear. Some things don't change with age. Having said that and although I understand the majority here are people in their 20's n 30's I would still enjoy a list for people of my age .
I'm really surprised you talked about Gucci Guilty Black, first fragrance I purchased , didn't think it was the greatest mainly because of longevity. I started to wear it to work just to finish the bottle and has really grown on me, compliments almost everyday. Great office scent
Hands down ADG absolu is the best of all time, I would give 10/10 if it's good for really hot summers days. It might be a little bit annoying if it's really hot outside. Besides that it is the best for everything anytime anywhere👍👍
Great list. Some of my favourite office scents are JPG Fleur Du Male, Mancera Aoud Violet, Vetiver Sensual and Salvatore Ferragamo Acqua Essenziale Blu.
I have both fleur du male and cologne fleur du male… and neither of them feel office safe.. such strong performers, i find it challenging wearing them in an open space type of office… great scents though!
I blind-bought Wood Neroli off your recommendation from a previous video earlier this year; can confirm, great office frag for grabbing positive attention. Great video as always, Dallas!
I remember you had a video saying that dior homme 2020 was the biggest disappointment lol ,now you understand 😂 I bought it from sephora ,and it's a must have
Haven’t smelled it yet but people in the fragrance world are talking good things about it. Saying it’s a compliment magnet. Need to try it then. Have it in my bag to order it. How does the performance and longevity work on you?
@@Ela.Gonzza it's a really nice fresh and fruity/blue-ish type of scent in the opening then when it settles definitely becomes smoother. performs better than average (although as an edp it should perform decent) as it was past the 6 hour mark in work when one of the girls said i smelt nice. blind buy it, you won't regret it
Some people where things for themselves not for other people. I don’t think about which one in my collection is gonna get me compliments when I spray something on.
@@slkric1724 but getting compliments isn’t WHY it’s worn. That’s the point you said that we wear them to get compliments. A lot of people don’t wear them for that reason it’s just something that happens. There’s a difference
Saw Wood Neroli at the airport last Tuesday and remembered you talking about it before. Didn’t buy it. Now you talk about it again and didn’t know it’s discontinued. Is it that good to blind buy?
@@Ela.Gonzza yeah I bought a bottle because I love the smell but I probably only worn it once and won't wear it again but sometime I just spray it in the air to enjoy the smell
I bought wood neroli because I fell in love with the sample of it then it got discontinued basically same day as I bought the sample and didn't even know, so I panic bought a bottle and now I never wear the bottle I want to get rid of it. To me it has an amazing sweet citrus that's unlike any other fragrance but the closest I can compare it with is dior homme sport 2021 or dior homme 2020. It's like a candied citrus and it's not natural smelling, but it doesn't smell like toilet spray or sharp either. They were very smart they understand citrus can go wrong easily because citrus is sour and sharp on the nose and can smell cheap if not done right, so they added Iso E Super in here to sweeten up the citrus which actually took that sourness away from it and the sharpness and you get this amazing sweet Iso E Super citrus opening that i've only ever smelled in Dior homme 2020 and dior homme 2021. So now that it's discontinued just go with either of those dior fragrances as an alternative. Here's the problem I have with the fragrance and I never noticed it before, it somehow has a weird ammonia smell to it which some girls may think smells like cat piss or sweat and those dior fragrances also suffer from the ammonia smell. So for this reason I don't wear it anymore when I realized that I may be walking past people and they think I pissed my pants or covered in sweat because that ammonia if you get a wiff of that in the air (sillage) it smells awful in the sillage. So i'd avoid it even though I personally do think it's such a great scent, it's not going to be a lady pleaser or compliment getter but maybe actually scare some people away. Although takes a good nose to notice the ammonia smell, girls tend to be more sensitive to the ammonia smell then guys for some reason. If it had more musk and maybe even ambroxan something to make it more masculine it probably would've been a little better to cut through some of that ammonia smell
Prada ocean is definitely mysteriously... crappy..I bought it and I want to like it but I have to force myself to like it. Just from owning carbon and black, ocean is just feels like such a waste of money. It sucks that wood neroli is discontinued, so classy, soft and gentlemen like and he is absolutely right about the opening. It'll put you in the best of moods for sure!
I have the same problem. I keep trying to like it because everyone says it’s so good and versatile but I’ve worn it a bunch of times and I keep trying to convince myself and it’s just not happening. It’s not that good.
Is Wood Neroli that good? Thinking of blind buying it. Would love to know how is the performance and longevity for an office environment. Thanks ahead!
Same here! I blind bought it based on my love for Luna Rosa Black but I ended up just giving it to a friend of mine. I couldn’t even force myself to like it.
@@davidweirich9256 Just curious, I sampled maybe three different Prada scents at the Mall on my skin. I remember one that smelled like blueberry bubblegum on the dry down. I think it was Ocean, but I'm not sure... Do you get a blueberry note when you wear it? Or was it some other Prada scent I tried? 🤔
Another thing I forgot to say about Wood neroli that atomizer sucks and often shoots 1 single stream instead of spraying a mist then I end up soaking my clothes like a super soaker water gun and leaves bad oil stains because it didn't atomizer/disperse the fragrance well in the air evenly
Although I love the fragrance I have to agree and the same thing happens to me too. Getting a jet stream of fragrance sucks haha. But I still love it I give that a pass
