Regarding your wet gloves. GoreTex or any other membranes don't work well in combination with heated grips. The membrane is supposed to move the humidity from the warmer side (your hands) to the colder site (outside of the glove). With heated grips this is reversed. Now the outside of the glove is warmer than the inside and the humidity moves into the glove.

Hey mate, appreciate the review. I'm a relatively new rider, been riding about two years. Used a mate's jacket for the last couple years, so I was looking for a new riding jacket that was functional, safe and looked like I wasn't wearing the typical riding jacket.

I have the same helmet model, got the shield as well, for you guessed it, handling the same rainy condition here in Malaysia. When I tested it on the highways in a particularly heavy rain, my engine, famous for its heat, heated up my jacket, jeans, and the exhaust wrap. The fog that build up on the windshield...nasty..scary nasty I thought for sure I was going to crash anytime soon.. Imagine, anticipating a crash for no good reason. Luckily I came upon a petrol station and I stopped...mostly to collect myself again rather than waiting for the rain to pass. It was a terrifying experience that they have not fixed (perhaps not knowing about this?) after 5yrs, yeah? I am still getting the goosebumps even after 5 years of the experience. Glad you're okay. I still have the same helmet and just changed the goggles on it. Still lovin' it. It's so good looking, right? haha. Only wearing it when it's really sunny and within the 'lockdown distance', just in case. Enjoying your channel! Appreciate your review videos on the Insta360 ONE X2. I just purchased it.

At last you are out on the road, I ride in the rain, and having good warm gear that also keeps you dry is very important. Question; Would you get a windshield? In the rain, shields help to push the rain around you...just an idea. I note your Speedo/Data Cluster is on the left side of the front...why?...I always enjoy your vids, lots of fun and passion in what you say and do. Finally! I do have one, although it doesn’t take much to put on I didn’t bother haha.
Speedo is down low because I can’t stand it up high, I think it’s the ugliest part of the bike so I’m just trying to hide it. Working on removing it all together and replacing with a mini. It’ll be a pretty big job though
