Just a small suggestion, if using a setup like in thumbnail shot, make sure your motorcycle leans away from you not towards you. It has happened just twice in my experience, but ground can become soft (due to rain or other reasons) and motorcycle can go down.
A squashed beer can can also help under the kickstand. 🇦🇺 Agreed on parking it so it can't fall on you in bed, that would be real bad. Winds, even wild animals, sheep can push a bike over.
If a strong wind pushes the bike over it‘s worse. I think having the kickstand there is much safer than the other way around. It wont sink with the plate
Great recommendations! Looking at my motocamping checklist, I also bring extra ROK straps in case the return trip has a different pack, loo roll in case things get dire, and a high-calorie malt loaf / raisin bread in case the cook fails! Also a small garbage bag to leave it as I found it.
Hi Rob from Northern Ontario Canada 🇨🇦. With the dryer summers and forest fires, fire bands are a big deal. So a camp stove is essential. I love how you keep this simple. Firebox with the spirit can is something I am going to look into. Also, I love the backup of the ferris rod instead of matches or lighter. I have had my recharge lighter die. 😄 cheers!
Bro devo ter visto mais de 15 videos sobre camping gear e este é o que me parece mais enriquecedor. Material muito prático e essencial. 👍 Boa continuação, boas viagens. Feliz ano novo
Great video, thanks! If I'm going light and using dehydrated food then I'll just take my Jetboil because it's so fast to heat water for coffee and food. If I want to cook while I'm camping I take my Trangia which has a frying pan, two pots with one lid I added, and a kettle. If I'm thinking I might have a little fire and cook I take the Firebox and the Trangia burner. The Trangia is my favourite because while it's more bulky it's also bomb-proof and really great to cook bigger meals.
Me and my husband have recently started doing long rides on our bikes. We are planning to ride over world's highest motorable road "Um ling La" and was searching for camping essentials and this was really helpful video. Thank you for that. Now looking forward for a packing guide video. Love from India...
Great video from which I learned a lot-luggage, motorcycle modifications, camera, and so on. What I really miss and would love to see is a video about clothing, for example, underwear, jackets, pants for both cold and hot weather, and solutions for when it rains. Best regards from Poland.
Good video, I enjoyed it. For sleeping pad, I recommend Insulated Static V Recon by the brand Klymit. I have till todays date 221 nights of sleeping on it and I did not have to repair anything on it. Excellent quality.
Kulkyne Kampers are an Aussie swag brand and they've started doing a biker swag. Would replace your tent and mattress in one, has a hybrid foam and air mattress in it. might be worth looking into. Love your videos, I've been looking into getting a bike recently and the concept of bike camping is appealing af.
For new sleeping mat, I can suggest these: Big Agnes Rapide SL Insulated Thermarest NeoAir Xtherm Both these are light, small and great at keeping you warm.
Hey mate, If you haven't got a new sleeping pad yet, I recommend the Flextail Zero Mattress R05 - 5.6 Ultralight Air Sleeping Pad. Cheers mate, love your vidz.
Hi Rob! Love watching your videos. You have done videos what cameras you use, your audio setup, your camping equipments. Please do one on motorcycle riding gears as well. Love from India
These are some awesome recomendations! Personally I use gas canisters with little screw-on burner, but I think Ill swap real soon to MSR Dragonfly- you can use petrol for it, wich when traveling on a motorcycle- you always have.
One thing I didn’t see you mention is what do you use for wiping your but? (Where all human an we all gotta take a dump sometime ) My solution is “ Wilderness Wipes” from Sea to Summit. Great for everything from a quick wipe down of your skin, cleaning the dishes and answering the call of nature. Fully biodegradable ,compostable Alo Vera impregnated, cheap and tough. They come in a resealable small pack, in 2 different sizes.
Brillant video as always. I am very interested in the bbq grill and will try to build one. Could I ask for some dimensions? Or close up pictures. Thanks
Heyy, juste wanna know if you're gonna make a video for your moto setup, clothes, boots and shoes helmets and others. You can become a guide for solo camping, it would be awesome 👍 Love your vids 🥳
Hi Rob! I’m curious about the Mosko Moto 80 you said were perfect for your scrambler. My worry is the exhaust. How do you work around that? Are you still able to use the whole kit? Would love to see pictures/video of the scrambler fully kitted out with the mosko moto rackless. Thanks!
Quadlocks are great, however, if you're going to attach a phone to your bike, make sure it's a back-up phone. The last thing you want is to have an "off" and you lose your phone or, you can't get to your bike to make the call. Of course, an in-reach or similar is a solution to that, however, redundancy is always good and 3 generations old renewed android phones are cheap off Amazon and on longer trips if your main phone fails, you have the back-up.
Love the videos keep up the good work.. Big question where did you get your egg protectors from? I find them funny and practical which is right up my street.
Sir actually I want to buy insta 360 but I don't have that much money 😢 I have bike but I don't have action camera 😢I want to strat motovlogging 😢 and also I am paying my bike EMI every month so no savings in my account 😢 how can I buy 😢, please help me
There are so many thinly-disguised sales pitches on 'moto-camping' vids. The sales pitch on this one is not disguised, it's in your face. Very tedious. Love and peace.
blah blah blah .. sponsership , free stuff , blah blah blah ... money ... money .. money .. blah blah blah i will lpromote and grift for the right price because im im a middle class ponce !

💯
An uncle of a friend got the foot peg of the motorcycle impaled in his leg due to the motorcycle tipping over, so yes, great tip!
Kickstand plate. My fully loaded Harley can sit on soft ground and never sink. Camping on the down side of the bike just works better
A squashed beer can can also help under the kickstand. 🇦🇺 Agreed on parking it so it can't fall on you in bed, that would be real bad. Winds, even wild animals, sheep can push a bike over.

Nemo tensor ultralight sleeping pad. Belly sleeper, toss and turn. Has not lost air and found comfortable over 6 camping trips in the last 8 months.
Had mine more than a year, has never had a leak.
Great recommendations! Looking at my motocamping checklist, I also bring extra ROK straps in case the return trip has a different pack, loo roll in case things get dire, and a high-calorie malt loaf / raisin bread in case the cook fails! Also a small garbage bag to leave it as I found it.
Tip , striking ferro rod : you hold the metal piece steady with one hand and you pull the ferro rod on it. Better control.
Amazing! Thanks for this - I’ll try it next time
You're a real one for this. Especially with the links you've provided in the description. Keep up the Grind!
I appreciate that!
I like the cabinet you are using as table, where did you buy that?
The production of your videos is amazing. Always very well done.
Thank you very much!

Just picked my tent up, fully inspired by you! Cant wait for my first trip
This is awesome!
A Tipp for a airmatratz: The ones from Nemo Tensor Insulated very comfy Great Isulation sleepted 3 Weeks in Norway on it. Great 👍🏻
Hi Rob , if you like the firebox why not get a nano firebox and use the Trangia cooker in that, alot smaller n lighter.
Looking into this now thank you!

Just a thought, could you use the lid of the soup bowl pot as a fry pan to save room??
AMOK winter lite. I use and had zero issues with leaks. I also bought some duck down booties for colder camps off Aliexpress 😊
Thanks i'll check it out!
I hope you're healing up well!
It's going to be a slow one unfortunately
Good video, I enjoyed it.

Next level moto camper my guy
Great vid. I'm heading to Flinders Ranges from Melb next week and reminded me to grab a few things.
Epic!
Great content! Thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I missed seeing your little egg cups with the faces on them. I LOVE THOSE little guys!
These are some awesome recomendations! Personally I use gas canisters with little screw-on burner, but I think Ill swap real soon to MSR Dragonfly- you can use petrol for it, wich when traveling on a motorcycle- you always have.
COOL❤
i also have the Able Brown but the nomad 2. The condensation is the only nitpick I have with it as well😢!
Cheers mate, lots of good ideas
With your ferro rod add a ziplock sandwich bag with cotton wool balls in it, gets a flame instantly on spark👍
Love your videos mate .
I noticed on one of your videos your videos you had the Mosco Motor bags over your Scrambler exhaust?
Hey mate, have you got the link for the kit you fill the little gas cans with?
Where did you bought the detergent with the scrubber?
Not long stumbled across your channel, absolutely love it bruva, definitely given me some inspiration…. Stay upright ol son 🤙
Japan has become cool. It is a good time to travel.
I'm thinking about buying a scrambler with rob😂
Haha do it! I'll be in Japan in February for the Snow Machine Festival!

thanks brother, really helpful vid!

You can buy heat shields that attach to the exhaust and protect your luggage
First time watching your video and I am definitely following. Thank you for the tips. Do you have the link for the soap environmentally safe.

What type of bike is that? I'd like to know a bit about your motorcycle.
Good video. Can't find the link to the canister refill thingy...
Brother, what is the brand of your barbecue grill, because I can't find one of that size anywhere. :(
Love the videos keep up the good work.. Big question where did you get your egg protectors from? I find them funny and practical which is right up my street.
Haha i bought them from a market, so no link unfortunately. They're pretty fun
Warm up in your tent…it’s simple and one must be careful with it…a candle.
Oh! Does it really make that much of a difference?
Ummmmm only 27 uses for a sleeping mattress sort of sucks.....Or is this just my opinion?
Is it true that quadlock gives no promises that their anti vibration design protects the camera?
Haha and a lot of sponsored goodies since the last video! I’m jealous😅
What helmet do you use??
Hi, what part of Australia are you ?
Love the bike !!
Bike model?
Rob, Rob, where are the egg canisters? Surely they deserver their own video, I'm certain there's a stop motion story in their somewhere.
Are those shinkos? I do not like those tires haha
They sure are! And fair enough. I dig them

Get a second job champ
Damn now i gotta get my wallet out 🤑
Same here! Lol
💝♥️❤️😇💗💙❣️💖⭐
Ok, we get it. You are paid to say all the best for one brand event if it has negative sides.
Geez you take a lot of gear camping…..! I take a swag and a jet-boil.
I have a swag but it's far to cumbersome for what you get. Good sleeps though
There are so many thinly-disguised sales pitches on 'moto-camping' vids.
