I am a Hollow Horn Bear. My Grandma was Theresa Hollow Horn Bear. I am 5th generation direct descendant. Duane is Our Family Chief who carries our Family Pipe and Head Dress. Chief Hollow Horn Bear was Poisoned by the white house wen 19 Chiefs were takn there to sign the treaties in 1886. After the signing the next morning wen they woke up 11 Chiefs were dead. They claimed they died from tuberculosis. Lies, Nobody was sick. They sent My Great Great Great Grandfathers body home in a wood box with all of his belongings missing except Our Familys Head Dress. 75 years later our Family Pipe was found in a Kansas city museum. It was brought back to Us wen i was 14years old. I got to Pray and smoke with my Elders because I had to take the place of my Mom, cuz she had her Moon. Most Spiritual Power went thru my whole Being that day and forever on. I will never forget where or who i come from. I Belong. We come from a longline of Medicine people and Storytellers who take the Pain for the People ✊👑🙏❤ LILILILILILILI 💥💫💪🏽❤
As told to me by father, my great-grandfather was of the Lakota people, from a place called Rosebud or some such. His family was very poor and had not much to eat, so he became a horse thief and after a time, became a wanted man. He escaped north to Canada and headed East. After traveling for some time, he came back into the United States through Niagara and found refuge with the Tuscarora. He married an Tuscarora woman, settled down and my Grandfather was born, along with many siblings. So, thank you, Duane Hollow Horn Bear for the story. It reaches farther than perhaps you know.

Listening to you tell a story reminds me of all the stories i was told by my grandfather growing up. Its so important that all people respect and learn from the stories of our elders. I tried to get stories "out of " my grandpa (only had one) an grandma's (had both) . As Europeans from the Netherlands , elders seem to be pretty secretive . My grandfather spent several years in the camp of Dachau during WWII, his wife raised 4 kids while he was away , and on the other side they were in Indonesia. I know some of the stories here but not enough to transmit to my daughter . So she will loose hr inherited stories , will not remember where she comes from (well , being first generation SHE will but her kids won't) , and that is how our European History will go nihil ... Maybe just as good ... We destroy so much !

My soul is telling me not to be afraid...but during my journey in finding the flute so I can pray for humanity. I am mutating with earth . Have denied spirituality my whole life but the strong events are showing me the path through these steps....abuse, seeing, healing, more abuse and more seeing, losing weight, job, family everything caring love and positivity and not understanding why ...I give thousand of options to find love peace, to connect with earth, but they choose the one negative exit...i am so weak, but I feel like I must stay alive as something tells me I am important for what’s happening. I’m watching these videos and being like ....it’s like I already knew this, and it’s overwhelming. My mother recently started to tell us about her birth father. All she knows really is that he was a young native american man and fell in love with my German grandmother. They both were young so they gave my mother up for adoption but since she has told us about my grandfather I love listening to stories and learning. Just want to say this was beautiful story
It's amazing how this story correlates with Genesis. It makes you wonder who started that story, and what peoples first made this story before they scattered across the Earth. The Mother will cleanse all the evil again.

My Grandmother's always said they were Cherokee but some say my one Grandmother from my Mom was something else. My Moms side mostly came from the Tar River and followed the rivers deep in the woods. My Grandfather once told me we come from travelers that have traveled the whole world, collecting others that wanted a more peaceful life. They settled around the Tar River and the mountains where they mixed with the locals. My Grandfather was Scandinavian and Irish, his family came before Columbus. He married my Grandmother when she was 13 and he was 20. He said he did love her but it was also to protect her from the men that came to harm everyone. She was part of the ones that could see, feel and hear things others could not. The ones the tribes of her people and my Grandfathers would turn to for guidance as they became stronger spiritually. She was very gifted, she called it a curse and a blessing but helped me with my path. I've heard people say I'm a Heyoka.. Seeker... or crazy, depending on the person. I dont know what or where I come from other than from Above but I love and greatly appreciate your stories. For our stories are what keeps our truths alive.

My Family is connected to the St. Francis Mission on the Res. and those among my relatives still live on the Res. - the Small Bear Family, part of the Bear Clan. It's a privilege to hear this story although I'm thousands of miles away from Lakota people. Here in Brasil we also have a brutal historic of colonization, it's terrifying to think that such amazing people, with so much wisdom and sensibility went through all this suffering and disrespect. The love and hard work indigenous people show today in their fight to protect their way of life and the Earth is my main source of hope for the future of humanity.

. Have denied spirituality my whole life but the strong events are showing me the path through these steps....abuse, seeing, healing, more abuse and more seeing, losing weight, job, family everything caring love and positivity and not understanding why ...I give thousand of options to find love peace, to connect with earth, but they choose the one negative exit...i am so weak, but I feel like I must stay alive as something tells me I am important for what’s happening. I’m watching these videos and being like ....it’s like I already knew this, and it’s overwhelming. I can’t help but help others to find peace within, strip it all out...they avoid me, people get weird around me and I used to feel like, is it me ? But I have absolutely nothing against you. I have never done anything ...now I see about the mirror..helping and teaching people to find the vibrations to match with the open mind and peace to live in the present, but able to feel what that means. I’m just a kid, I still feel like I knew all of this as a kid. Seeing they could be anything they wanted to be, discover things beyond of what they can create and as history shows...destroy eventually. I feel it inside of me. I cried watching the first video about Heyokas and it was anonymous who made it....it touched my soul and I knew I wasn’t just an empath. ....
omg,..it’s too much in my head...I stayed at times awake for 6 days in the past 2 months. And I slept and woke up just fine and the fluctuation of everything in the world and within myself it’s crazy.

My mother recently started to tell us about her birth father. All she knows really is that he was a young native american man and fell in love with my German grandmother. They both were young so they gave my mother up for adoption but since she has told us about my grandfather I love listening to stories and learning. Just want to say this was beautiful story

My Grandmother's always said they were Cherokee but some say my one Grandmother from my Mom was something else. My Moms side mostly came from the Tar River and followed the rivers deep in the woods. My Grandfather once told me we come from travelers that have traveled the whole world, collecting others that wanted a more peaceful life. They settled around the Tar River and the mountains where they mixed with the locals. My Grandfather was Scandinavian and Irish, his family came before Columbus. He married my Grandmother when she was 13 and he was 20. He said he did love her but it was also to protect her from the men that came to harm everyone. She was part of the ones that could see, feel and hear things others could not. The ones the tribes of her people and my Grandfathers would turn to for guidance as they became stronger spiritually. She was very gifted, she called it a curse and a blessing but helped me with my path. I've heard people say I'm a Heyoka.. Seeker... or crazy, depending on the person. I dont know what or where I come from other than from Above but I love and greatly appreciate your stories. For our stories are what keeps our truths alive.

As one who is part Lakota (Rosebud Res.), I am always very pleased to hear, read or experience all things about the rich history of the Lakota People - Lakota, Oyate Ki! My Family is connected to the St. Francis Mission on the Res. and those among my relatives still live on the Res. - the Small Bear Family, part of the Bear Clan. My Mother is registered but, sadly, I am not but wish I had the privilege of direct Membership.

It's a privilege to hear this story although I'm thousands of miles away from Lakota people. Here in Brasil we also have a brutal historic of colonization, it's terrifying to think that such amazing people, with so much wisdom and sensibility went through all this suffering and disrespect. The love and hard work indigenous people show today in their fight to protect their way of life and the Earth is my main source of hope for the future of humanity.
