Thank you so much for your video. I'm 42 and starting sewing for the first time and I was in my bathroom today with a very similar fabric knowing what I wanted it to drape like very similar on the side by the shoulder and I was literally trying to hold it together and I didn't even know this was a way to so what I Googled and came up with your video. I'm very excited that this is actually a way to do things because same with you, I like the way that it was laying and folding on my own body and I pinned it but thought I was crazy doing it this way. Now at least I have some sort of guideline to know that I have to go back and hand baste. My favorite part at the end was when your dog came through❤
I love your videos/tik toks! The dying of this fabric is unbelievably beautiful, totally unique even though it was a 'happy accident'. It reminds me of oil/petrol spills, the different colours bleeding into each other.
I just subscribed to your channel. I love what your doing and your step by step is perfect. I would love to see you do a video where you pleat on the form then sew it and a vid where you use muslin to pleat then transfer to fabric. I hope you understand.
In this video I show how I baste stitch the side seams together you can leave a small section of it unsewed typically where you would put your zippier or closure and then remove from the mannequin and you can a French seam to hide the raw edges.

Thank you💚
Love it ❤️✂️
You're the best🤩
Keep up the good work 😉
Love your videos. What if my client is bigger than the dress form. How would adjust?
I will pad my mannequin with padding and add where it’s needed, you can also buy already made pads to add!
@@VaedSlowfashionstudio thank u so much. Enjoy your videos. Learn a lot
