    My daughter was having a bad day at school so we did this for her that evening and she loved it. She did great, the formula held up even better after sitting overnight. Smells so good and it’s so silky on the skin. Thank you for giving us inspiration and all these great ideas so moms and daughters can have great personal time together to do these

    I ordered most of the ingredients from Etsy and I made this lotion a few days ago. Its lovely.....it sinks right in and leaves my skin soft and hydrated. I will definitely be making this again.

    Just want to thank you for getting me back into Glyceryl Stearate PEG 100 Stearate. I had moved away from it for a while and was working exclusively with the Montanov series, but now I'm back to it and OMG!!! 😍 Obsessed. I will never neglect it again.

      Can lotion pro 165 be used instead since it's a combination of both glyceryl stearate and PEG 100 ?

    What a beautiful recipe. That emulsifier is the bee's knees! I think josie maran's famous body butter has this emulsifier in it. Thank you for sharing with us.

    Hi, I'm Spanish and I want to tell you that I am very happy to learn more about you. You have a wonderful and practical way of sharing your knowledge, infinite thanks for that. I want if you allow me to ask you a question. I am a fan of hair stays, but I have a problem. My hair is fine, greasy and very frizzy. I know that many people like me live the same. could you teach us something about it ?! Thank you so much.

      In the meantime, on supplier's websites you could read about characteristics of ingredients, just a tip. They also have ingredients for haircare, and I have come across an ingredient that said it helped against frizzyness

      Have you ever checked out WholeElise’s channel? I don’t know for sure but I’m guessing she has some turmeric recipes that may act as a guide. Feels like the sort of ingredient she’d incorporate. I’d love to try it myself in a mask!

    Great, I just removed this emulsifier from my cart because it contained a lot and it felt overwhelming, and placed the order yesterday after waiting and 'thinking' and researching for maybe 2 or 1,5 years lol. After 2 years I still manage to be 1 day too early

    .. When i began body butters.... I found them very oily. And I can't push that. Is this the same??

    • @heidicroucher
      @heidicroucher 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This formulation is supposed to feel very light, and not thick or slow to absorb. It is made to not feel like it is just sitting on top of the skin, and greasy feeling. When you take those factors away, you may find that you don't feel the same "oilyness," as traditional body butters. . . Buut everyone's perception is different. What Marie feels is light and airy could very well still feel like too much for you. Only way to find out is to try it for yourself... you just might love it!
      Also, if you are still skeptical, you could try scaling the batch size down.. it just tends to get difficult to use an immersion blender when the batch gets too small.
      Hope this helps 😁

  • @gayleh4299
    @gayleh4299 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    If I multiply this by 10, to make a big batch, will it come out the same?

    If I wanted to substitute distilled water with aloe vera water, would that be ok? I would be using the insides/"meat" of the aloe vera leaf and blend it with distilled water. But if I chose to use the aloe vera juice/water in the jug that also contains citric acid, would that be ok? Sorry for all of the questions

    • @heidicroucher
      @heidicroucher 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not sure how "safe," it would be, preservation wise, to use home blended Aloe Vera in a homemade product... but I do know, if you wanted to use store bought (verified pure) Aloe Vera JUICE as a sub for the water, as long as you don't add anything else to the formulation that is electrolyte sensitive, you should be fine.

    • @HumblebeeAndMe
