Doug Joestar I think they need to rework a lot of animations, because now for example, lead leg low kick looks so bad, that you almost don’t want to use it. Even the fastest kickers like Aldo doing low kicks so bad. It’s also relevant for a lot of others animations.
Striking is really nice i think but grappling is whack af. Especially in ranked online people use khabib and smash you on the ground. It would be okay if ground and pound wasnt that overpowered. It's annoying
they don't really care about making the best possible game, they'll invest just enough resources into the game for it to be profitable. That's EA in a nutshell, but in a sense I can't blame them. They have no competition to force them to make a better product.

PES also have to use alternative names for clubs because they own very little rights which also puts people off. Until there’s someone that rivals them we’re stuck
Still the best UFC/MMA ever made. Character Models Top Notch, Presentation Amazing, Roster Full. Then each fighter fought differently and moves had impact. The only thing I would change would be the damage system. If it had EA UFC 3 damage system and updated roster then it would be flawless. ALSO PRIDE MODE!!!!

Idk about ufc 3 because I never played it but I like how in undisputed 3 I can just destroy a person with leg kicks and he won't be standing for the decision.
The grappling looks so natural and quick, even times where you are fighting for position for 10-15 seconds in a row which almost never happens in UFC 3. And the ref pushing them off to stop the fight is fantastic!
I gotta disagree with the striking part. I think the striking in UD 3 is way more fluid and better than in EA UFC. Some animations may not look as good and there is less variety in strikes, but it just work better in UD 3 IMO. The striking in EA UFC, especially 3, feels very clunky to me. Its sluggish and slow. Not to mention the fact that the massive amount of hit stuns and the combo based striking make it almost feel turn based. It's just annoying.
This isn’t relative to the video at all but one thing i would really love in the next MMA is the ability to choose what style shorts that your fighter wears. For example Jon Jones has worn the Vale tudo tights for his last 3 fights. Unfortunately in UFC 3 we don’t have the ability to switch his shorts to the correct pair.
Yeah it's already in there with the CAF editor, wouldn't be hard to apply to existing fighters. Would'nt have to see Jon wear a diaper in every match. lol

I would say everything is better with the undisputed series but especially the ground game and clinch game is miles ahead compared to the garbage they have today. i played this game and the characters have realistic traits like clay guida and michael bisping have insane cardio and also nick diaz and you can really tire your opponents with relentless attacks
I really enjoyed how TKO's and flash KO's were in undispuited 3, they looked a lot more natural/organic. If it makes sense I also prefer the pace and animations fights have in Undisputed over the EA releases.

How can anyone say that ufc 3 is better thay this in any way. Even the striking, yea undisputed is clunky. But I could throw any combination of punches at any time not limited to in game combos. Ground sways, wall walk position, the ability to pull guard, use butterfly guard, more transition animations, takedown animations, post-fight interviews with different choices, press conference interactions, moving up or down divisions any time you want, knees to the body from the turtle position, a better career mode, and doctor stoppages need to be in UFC 4.

If you still have an online pass you should play with TheUFCVeteran, also he hosts a universe mode on Sundays with rankings and Champs and even CAFs of real fighters to spice up the roster it would be so dope if you turned up to one of the events sometime

How is it that this game has a WAY better presentation , and seemingly way more intuitive ground controls. Also seemingly way more animations than upcoming UFC 4. Does EA only want to cater to the “arcade” type of fighting fans ? The way this game handles the ground seems way more interesting. No stupid fakes or anything like that . Tiago and Fitch was not the main event like he says. They aired their prelim fight after the Brock/Mir fight because of lack of actual fight time on the broadcast.
I’ve been wanting you to do an Event mode for so long. I’ve been watching this guy named TheUFCVeteran and he has his own MMA universe type thing. I think watching you do something like that would be awesome. Like maybe have a “UFC event” once a month and stream it instead of record and upload later.
I just started playing career mode in Undisputed 3 because of your videos and because I don't own an Xbox One. So you can imagine my surprise to hear you say there are parts of this game that are better than the newest in the series. :)
I like EA UFC 3 but from presentation, the modes, authentic fighters, striking animations, ground and pound and grappling overall in UD3 still competes with a game released last year is amazing. The game play speaks for itself. Not to mention doctor stoppages, mouth pieces flying out and even to an extent ko animations were great additions

This is the first time I'm watching Undisputed 3 and I have to say: EA really needs this ground game ASAP, just seeing that position on the side of the cage makes reminds me the kind of ground control Khabib had against Dustin, Conor and Barboza
How is it that this game has a WAY better presentation , and seemingly way more intuitive ground controls. Also seemingly way more animations than upcoming UFC 4. Does EA only want to cater to the “arcade” type of fighting fans ? The way this game handles the ground seems way more interesting. No stupid fakes or anything like that . I swear I’ve never seen someone fake a transition in a grappling exchange. Idk where EA got that from

1st more undisputed content please 2 the ground game is so much better. 2 there are more transitions than ufc 3 which is a shame. 4 when you take damage you get knocked out. It’s a damn shame a game that came out at the beginning of the decade is better than the one we got last year.

Tiago and Fitch was not the main event like he says. They aired their prelim fight after the Brock/Mir fight because of lack of actual fight time on the broadcast.

I’ve been wanting you to do an Event mode for so long. I’ve been watching this guy named TheUFCVeteran and he has his own MMA universe type thing. I think watching you do something like that would be awesome. Like maybe have a “UFC event” once a month and stream it instead of record and upload later.

I like EA UFC 3 but from presentation, the modes, authentic fighters, striking animations, ground and pound and grappling overall in UD3 still competes with a game released last year is amazing. The game play speaks for itself. Not to mention doctor stoppages, mouth pieces flying out and even to an extent ko animations were great additions
Also I think this game had Rogan’s best commentary. It shouldn’t be impossible for EA to snag some audio files here and there

Yes having to remember the input to the ground. If someone is a new player can be really intimidating. I wouldn't mind if they brought it back. But I definitely like the knee from backside. Also thanks for the video and breakdown of an amazing game
