Exactly! I learned this when I started opening PDFs in Zotero and I pulled them towards me and I started the screen reader in the top right and I was carrying it with me like a book and flipping through pages like I was actually holding an iPad and walking around. People keep comparing this to the Quest, this is not in the same league as the Quest.

The audio gets louder if playing a video in any window, as you move the windows closer to you and the volume decreases as you move the windows away. And the audio adjust if you move a window on either side of you
Yes, you can but you’re using a pinch From both hands. You can scroll up and down just by touching the screen with your finger or your entire hand and moving things up and down, it’s very smooth and responsive. You would think you were holding a translucent iPad.
Really great points addressed that were not looked into in other videos. It is also great to see how quick you use the UI, showing that the learning curve is steep.
They do not follow you. You have to pinch and carry them. That’s my biggest disappointment and I hope Apple adds something like a “follow me” mode. Maybe putting the apps in a stack in the corner of your view so they don’t block your vision while you walk.

I've been using it for a few days now, and I also find that the weight and comfortability was a little overblown in the early reviews. For me it's relatively comfortable with the solo knit band, I can wear it for a few hours without any issue. However, the dual loop band for me is painful from the get-go, and just gets worse as time goes on. It's super important to get the correct fit (including the light seal and correct band tightness) and is something that really needs to be experienced to gauge how it works and fits for you. I'm blown away by the experiences and have really been enjoying it! I'm super excited for the future of this tech!
If you can open the apps why can't you open two desktops? Another example of Apple limiting. You say you can open final cut but what if you use DaVinci?
what happens if your outside and you pin up some apps, then decide to walk away without closing the window(s). Do the apps close if you walk away from them or do they hold & remember the position placement if you return? hope this makes sense lol

Even though there’s only one Mac screen, I was hoping to see if you can realistically enlarge the Mac screen big enough to comfortably open several windows. Like a main timeline, floating plugin, and another mixer window at the same time.
I have some questions. What if you walk outside open up an app the walk away from it. How do you bring the app to your new location? What if you want to connect to your computer but you are not in the same room. Can you still connect somehow or do you have to be near it?
hi, last month i purchased xreal air 2. i have long site, i thought people with short site will have to wear prescription lens, but for my surprise long site people have problem in viewing. i ordered lens according to my site, but i am not at all comfortable with lens and viewing experience . No. I think this is the top price. I’m sure they don’t want to just get the MacBook Pro crowd. They aren’t even getting the MacBook Air crowd yet and those are still huge Apple fans. I would think the goal is to have the top tier $2k- $2.5k or less and the go to device, non pro version: $1300 or less (I would assume $999 or less should be the target to get wide spread adoption). It’s a lot to ask people to get an iPhone, a MacBook and the Apple Vision to have a full Apple experience. Pretty expensive unless some of these products aren’t needed someday. But this is just a guess. Perhaps they will keep a super expensive headset price for the fans that will pay it.

To be almost as productive, you'd have to rely on the visionOS Safari and Mail apps. Only downside is if you want multiple screens when doing Xcode but hope something in that regard (even if you have to be cabled into your Mac) will come in Gen 2 or Gen 3.

It has a beat sticker like a game where you use your hands instead of controllers and in trying out a few songs I certainly got some sweat going. I see no reason this couldn’t be used like any other headset for workouts.

It’s the comfort I have 10 VR headsets in the sun is by far the most uncomfortable all because they were stupid and didn’t put a top strap that goes front to back to lift it off your cheeks. I’m hoping and praying for aftermarket, light, shield, maybe and head strap that I can fix this

I’m surprised he’s not noticing the cheeks on the single strap. I’ve been using the dual strap and it’s been pretty comfortable, but you can definitely feel it on your face, though. I don’t think the weight is any problem for me often I forget it’s there. But I might be an edge case too.

Can you take photographs with it, by looking at the subject you want to photograph and blinking to take the photo? If it recordes in 4K, I can see lots of more uses in the film industry with this tech... If you can afford to purchase one of these units, I dont' know why anyone would be embarrassed to wear this in public. it is cool tech.
One thing I'm not crazy about with the AVP is although it looks amazing, it's kind of disappointing that it still uses flat 2D windows like we've been using since the '80s. sure they're huge and floating, but they're still flat computer windows. I think Apple could have thought of something more interesting. Why do you even need a huge white background in a window when viewing websites?

I found the solo band works better and more comfortable than the dual band too
I found the solo band to be quite comfortable too. Haven’t even tried the Dual Loop
Thanks to this video, I went back to the solo band and discovered that it is in fact more comfortable!
