I listened to this last night, the first night home with my first newborn child. While my wife and baby slept I listened while I cleaned and tidied the house into the late hours. I sat quietly in appreciation of all the beautiful people and things I have in my life now, after experiencing much trauma and loss. I felt this music deeply and just wanted to share my experience and express my gratitude to you for making this and contributing to a special moment; one I am sure will be a lifelong memory.
Congrats on your new baby, having children can bring so much joy to your life. Your selfless acts of kindness will strengthen and bless your family. Wishing you health and prosperity for your family!
sucks horribly. can't imagine how that must feel.... try to remember that its all a cycle... cycles within cycles.... death is necessary for life to exist, and, personally, it isn't _the_ end. Doesn't make sense to me in both scientific and poetic manners, when you really go down that rabbit hole.

I’m posting this for you also: Do not stand By my grave, and weep. I am not there, I do not sleep- I am the thousand winds that blow I am the diamond glints in snow I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle, autumn rain. I'm from Syria and ive never heard Oud being played like this. Oud sounds so good in this style! Gotta love it when people mix and make original music, so beautiful and touching.
Oud music feels like a warm cup of something delicious after a long day. Like sitting somewhere near a fire, feeling content, optimistic, and just unwinding. So calming, so soul-filling.
You honor the instrument makers, your audience, your self, and your ancestors the way you play. Thank you for your diligence and patience to play with such mastery and emotion. You are a clear channel for Spirit to flow through you, I appreciate this offering so deeply ✨🫶🏼✨🙌🏻✨🙏✨
Lord may i be renewed each day, washed anew, grant me the strength required, the eyes of a babe, the ears of an elder and the wisdom to know how to use them.
I've never heard Oud played like this before. Am from Egypt. I grew up listening to old songs from the 80s because my Dad loved listening to music so much. You play so beautifully and uniquely. Keep doing it.
👏 🧘♀️ I Must let everyone know that I have decided to change my mind and thoughts towards what I desire in this existence. A new state of being and perspective. I CHOOSE THIS MUSIC to help aid in my process. ThankYOU 🙏🏽 SO SO VERY DEEPLY. FROM MY ❤ THANKYOU FOR THIS video. It's amazing
Nao, this is an absolutely gorgeous piece! It is at the same time soothing and life-giving. I lived in Dubai 30 years ago , and heard the Oud often. Your music brings the instrument right to the very spot that western ears can appreciate its beauty and sumptuousness. I truly needed this music this morning! Bless you, and thank you!
in a world of twists and turns resilient tones softly yearn echoes of strength, steady and clear they rise above, conquering fear through the darkest of stormy nights resilient tones guide us to the light melodies with an unwavering sway they sing of hope in a graceful way when life's burdens weigh heavy on the soul resilient tones mend and console with every note, a healing touch they breathe new life, they mean so much in each crescendo and gentle refrain resilient tones embrace the pain they carry stories of resilience and might inspiring hearts to take flight through trials and tribulations faced resilient tones fill every space they harmonize with courage and grace a chorus of strength, leaving no trace so let us listen to their embrace resilient tones, a solace in any place they remind us to stand tall and strong to rise again, where we belong
First time hearing... feels like the creator of the universe is sitting across from me.. sharing the sun shining through the window and it casts this halo of light around him, while he talks to me without making a sound and I am in awe that he finds me worthy of even being in the same space as he. And I don't want him to ever stop.
Thank you for a soulful moment, a blessing. Time stood still for 3 hours. We all need proper meditation, amidst a crazy world. Peace & thank you for this beautiful playing.
Im so sorry. I know it hurts💘 My Momma passed into Glory a year ago New Years Eve. She was 94, im 64. Geez, i miss her so much. She is held fully in God now💜. Now, in a sense, she will always meet us at the end of the year and go with us into the New Year until we, her family, all are together again in glory with her and my Dad. 🙏✋Peace and hope over you. 🙏Gods hand drawing you close to His heart as He holds your Mum too. 🙏you two separately and yet in the Spirit together with God. 🌿comfort🌿
Beautiful! Thank you for sharing your talent with the world. I needed some wonderful music to go with today's moody atmosphere. We are sitting in the hills of Tennessee on a foggy, wet day. Listening to this while sipping on a green tea latte just completes the relaxing sounds of the rain hitting my porch roof. Even my 6 dogs are all snoozing and relaxed. All is right in my little corner of the Universe.

@@NaoSogabe Its very beautiful music. Inspiring, consummate skill and diligent work as gone into creating your sound and compositions.. I know this as a musician too.
The past 18 hours have been a roller coaster and this popped up on my feed. I'm now sitting here listening to this and sobbing. I'm on track for my Bachelors of Science in Psychology and I thought I was graduating next year, so all the planning I have done for where I go next is built with an extra 365 days in mind, and I received an email stating I could walk at the commencement ceremony this year. I had two panic attacks while searching for information. My advisor helped me immediately and explained what I still need for my degree, so I am still on track to graduate next year. I was prepared to move mountains to shift my goals to right now and not 365 days from now, and now I'm coming off of building up all that energy. I'm a fighter, I'm a planner, I make things move and I would have made it all move, and I'm so grateful that I don't have to, but also so absolutely weary. This journey is long and hard, and this music is singing to my soul and providing a relaxing space to acknowledge my own resilience. Thank you. I have immense gratitude for this space you're creating and the comfort being here provides. Your music is healing medicine. Thank you. Thank you thank you thank you.
Well I saved this in one of my music folders, but didn’t know what genre to put it in. Very very creative and new and inspiring. Just what I needed today. Thanks for allowing the world to experience this creative and beautiful piece of what beautiful things human nature is capable of. Together as artists we can snuff out the darkness with the light of love.
Profound thanks to you, deep well of peace and presence also known as Naochika Sogabe ! As a meditator with 73 clicks around the planet, I I find your music most excellent for resting in a continual state of meditation. It's very rare to find music so beautiful that doesn't send my mind Galloping into an analysis of it. Perhaps because I'm a classically trained musician. This music will encourage anyone who listens to rest as awareness..
There are no words that can explain the peace that your talent has given my heart. I thank you for this incredible gift. My gratitude to my ears and heart that have the ability to embrace it. Blessings upon you.
i just found out what happened to me when i was 5 years old...my brother was nine at the time and remembers everything but i remember nothing....we were were both damaged in different ways...and have had very challenging life as a result...no wonder i spent my adult life scouring all relegions and spiritual paths in search for liberation...at least i am at peace now knowing why all my intimate partners had been abused and i ended up playing a support roles...it sucks to be part of the group of kids in humanity that were fucked with...but i guess some of us had to go through it...and some of us need to express to the world what it took from us...i am learning to love people again after all the hurt and holding others in life...slowly ❤ thanks for the music that allows me to cry and release this pain. Every small thing counts 🙏
Thank you for your valuable words. In this piece (and many other pieces) I consider the function of a work of art as "catharsis" (purification) created by the ancient Greeks. Tears may flow, but our soul is purified and strengthened as a result. This gives us more strength to help other people, for example. I feel honored that my music may accompany you.
5:50 am Totally amazing to be able to escape and relax every muscle, pain both physically as well as emotional. Your gift of music to the world during these times of uncertainty, puts hope in our spirit as we draw closer to God, our creator. Thank you so very much for your dedication and time in healing this broken world!!
Your comment speaks volumes to me. Listening to this after some traumatic injury resulting in broken bones and crutches. It's been a week now, and I just feel the Universe just wants to cradle me and get to know me better, for me to know myself and the Universe better. I'm learning I'm an omnist despite years spent as an atheist, and I think I am just beginning to learn "be still and know that I am God." To trust, to accept, to surrender - it takes so much strength, faith, and resilience. Especially in this polarized world. I hope you have a very blessed day.
La résilience c'est la faculté à surmonter un traumatisme,et de continuer à se reconstruire, dans un environnement défavorable.Tout en douceur en tout cas avec cette cythare🍀🌧️🌈!
Hello artist, I have just discovered your music and it already overwhelms me internally and throughout my skin. I am one of your fans and will remain so for life. thank you to exist
Thank you for such refined music, as if you have tailored for each and every individual spirit! Knowing you "by chance" today, added a lot to my knowledge. Thank you once more.
A real instrument made from natural resources, it has a warm tone, makes you feel warm.Beautifully played, wonderful just to sit, listen and reflect to. Thank you !
Fascinating and rich tapestry of musical styles. The instrument is the vehicle, and the heart of the composer is the wellspring of beauty and art. Quasi improvisational if not entirely improvised, hence the natural flow of the pieces. A satisfying fusion of diverse musical material, the flowering of human gifts … Bravo!
It’s 2am and I’m laying next to my mom, a 64 woman with metastatic breast cancer. I didn’t see her in 9 months because I live in Canada while she lives in Algeria. At the time I left I didn’t know that she had cancer again. When I knew I tried my best to come to see her again and I did. She lost about 15kg or more. Tired and in pain. On chemo but it is not stopping it. I feel so much guilt cuz I’m only here for two weeks, I have a husband and I’m trying to build a life in Canada. I feel guilty that my sister in law is the one taking care of her cuz I’m not there for her. I had hope to try a genetic test to get more chances to find a medication for her but it is more expensive then what I can afford. This music is the only thing that can calm me and connect me with my feelings, and they are very tough feelings. Please pray for her , I love her so much and I can’t imagine life without her although I know life without her is getting close. Please pray for her 🙏 and for me too to get the resilience I need. Enjoy this masterpiece everyone
May our Creator and Lord Jesus Christ grant you peace, strength and comfort as you are going through such difficult circumstances. Also, may He comfort your mother and heal her body from its affliction. Amen. 🙏🏼
I listen to this piece almost every week, on the weekends. Really appreciate that it is lengthy, since there are not many in this genre that are the tempo and style as this one. Very beautiful. Music is indeed the Universal Language and crosses any geographical and cultural realms. domo arigato.
This music was able to calm me down enough to work. I have been so anxious and perhaps depressed for a few days that I couldn't do much. I am at a crossroads that I am sure many young adults face. A lot of changes are coming. I decided to leave my religion, and have no idea what my family's reactions will be. Work is demanding more and more from me, and everyone has high expectations. I simply haven't believed that I am capable of everything that needs to be done, in spite of having many people on my side. But it will pass, with each rising and setting of the sun, days will pass with their joys and sorrows... the ashen food in my mouth will find its flavor once more. Thank you for shedding a bit of light on my day!
Hello. Thank you for this music. TH-cam recommended for some reason and so I just found you now. I'm so glad because I was so stressed and stressed! This music completely dissipated the stress and brought delightful enjoyment. Thank you.
Thank YOU so much for this living, breathing, elevating vibrations of your spirit and heart!☀️I start my day with grey rain filled clouds in the sky, but your tunes and the singing birds in the garden around me. It’s a moment of deep peace and huge gratitude, I’ve gone through sooo much darkness and struggle since small, and walking on to healing I live now with 52 in a safe home, with a connected loving husband, animals, nature, God in my heart and so full of GRATITUDE really every single day…And by chance I discovered YOU as the perfect soundtrack for my morning-hallelujah 🌱🌱🌱💚💚🌳🌳🌳☀️☀️☀️🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼Tank YOU for your gift !

Thanks! Yes, I composed it myself.
Oud can be used for flamenco, blues, baroque or medieval music, even asian traditional music. It's a lute. The sound mastering is beautiful, with a cathedral reverb and delay, some parts make me think about Afghan rubab or tanbur.

Do not stand
By my grave, and weep.
I am not there,
I do not sleep-
I am the thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glints in snow
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle, autumn rain.
As you awake with morning’s hush,
I am the swift, up-flinging rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight,
I am the day transcending night.
Do not stand
By my grave, and cry-
I am not there,
I did not die.

in a world of twists and turns
resilient tones softly yearn
echoes of strength, steady and clear
they rise above, conquering fear
through the darkest of stormy nights
resilient tones guide us to the light
melodies with an unwavering sway
they sing of hope in a graceful way
when life's burdens weigh heavy on the soul
resilient tones mend and console
with every note, a healing touch
they breathe new life, they mean so much
in each crescendo and gentle refrain
resilient tones embrace the pain
they carry stories of resilience and might
inspiring hearts to take flight
through trials and tribulations faced
resilient tones fill every space
they harmonize with courage and grace
a chorus of strength, leaving no trace
so let us listen to their embrace
resilient tones, a solace in any place
they remind us to stand tall and strong
to rise again, where we belong
Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback!

i just found out what happened to me when i was 5 years old...my brother was nine at the time and remembers everything but i remember nothing....we were were both damaged in different ways...and have had very challenging life as a result...no wonder i spent my adult life scouring all relegions and spiritual paths in search for liberation...at least i am at peace now knowing why all my intimate partners had been abused and i ended up playing a support roles...it sucks to be part of the group of kids in humanity that were fucked with...but i guess some of us had to go through it...and some of us need to express to the world what it took from us...i am learning to love people again after all the hurt and holding others in life...slowly ❤ thanks for the music that allows me to cry and release this pain.
I feel honored that my music may accompany you.
wonderful, great way to start my morning!!! thank you so much for your music
Me as well. It made my day...
Healing to my heart.
2:54:11 merci !
Simplicity, beauty without ego....thank u
So beautiful. Thank you so much. ❤
Hermosa música . La escucho ahora mismo y me está haciendo muy bien
Thank you for listening and you wonderful words!
Beautiful, soothing,❤
La résilience c'est la faculté à surmonter un traumatisme,et de continuer à se reconstruire, dans un environnement défavorable.Tout en douceur en tout cas avec cette cythare🍀🌧️🌈!

Merci d'écouter ma musique !
Thank you for this beautiful, contemplative music.
So grateful. 🙏
I'm thinking of you and your mother. I hope that the situation develops in a way that is best for you all.
I wish you and your family strength, and may your mother heal and recover soon.

May our Creator and Lord Jesus Christ grant you peace, strength and comfort as you are going through such difficult circumstances. Also, may He comfort your mother and heal her body from its affliction. Amen. 🙏🏼

Thank you so much for your support! I will keep working on creating music for our soul.
I listen to this piece almost every week, on the weekends. Really appreciate that it is lengthy, since there are not many in this genre that are the tempo and style as this one. Very beautiful. Music is indeed the Universal Language and crosses any geographical and cultural realms. domo arigato.
Thank you so much for listening and your wnderful feedback!
Thank you for your offering of this music that has been soothing my frayed nerves on a very difficult day!
Thank you so much!
What a treasure you have shared! I used it in my own personal practice today. Thank You
Thank you for listening!
Beautiful music, indeed.
I'm glad my music can bring some peace to your soul.
