- Rowdy was a stray who came into an animal shelter in California. He was so unusual looking that no one wanted to adopt him but Christie saw his potential for the silver screen. He began to learn movie dog basics and it turns out Rowdy is a natural for acting on screen. With this new lease of life Rowdy began auditioning and caught his break on Nickelodeon being the star of 100 Deeds For Eddie Mcdowd.

He's not a strange dog at all lady, he's clearly an Aussie mix and Aussies were bred to WORK WORK WORK.
I used to breed and show Aussies, and I agree 100%! (I quit breeding to go into rescue and rehab for abused dogs. It's much more rewarding.)
Could even be an Aussie cross husky. But yeah honestly beautiful colours, nothing wrong with the dog, I actually love his colours actually. 😻

Why do they keep calling Roudy as weird, ugly, off putting. He's beautiful and wild looking. He's unique and gorgeous. So much more pleasing to look at compared to a lab or golden

Why would no one adopt Rowdy?! He’s ADORABLE! He’s not weird, awkward or ugly looking, he’s so gorgeous & unique! He’s a working breed (some type of Aussie mix) so I’m glad he landed where he did!

I loved this. Those dogs are great and are trained to do wonderful work. Rowdy is a beautiful dog. The service dog was awesome. So glad to hear that the Portuguese water dogs were brought back from near extinction. What a great way to earn money for the local animal shelter. God bless.

Can't understand why people who'd not want to give Roudy a home he is absolutely beautiful and he is not ugly or off putting he is a unique and gorgeous dog if i was there I who'd have taking him as I love dogs like that as I had a border collie dog for years .

Rowdy is clearly sn Australian Shepherd mix. Possibly mixed with a German Shepherd.
I would have taken him in a NY second! His blue eyes match my white wolf/husky's eyes..! The watch eyes are considered sacred to many first nation tribes... He is gorgeous! If you ever need to re-home him.. I got first dibs!❤❤❤❤❤

Rowdy found his perfect job. Wizard is a wonderful and beautiful dog. Lovely animals for a special job. These are very intelligent dogs. There is a pet for everyone.
I think I have a cousin to Rowdy. She is a rescue also. Also kind of unusual looking but she has one blue eye and one brown eye. Her vet thinks she's a Catahoula mix. They have what some call " glass" eyes.
I also loved the service dog. He was awesome.

Working breed mixes are a dime a dozen where I am lol. First to be adopted because they are cute and have cool eyes. Catahula and husky mixes fly out of the shelters.

Rowdy found the perfect life! When they showed Wizard carrying the basket of bread, I cringed. So unsanitary. I also would not want a dog jumping on me while eating. It's nice that his owner enjoys having people interact with him, but doesn't that send conflicting information for the majority of service dogs that you're NOT supposed to touch or distract? Maybe it's different in South Africa?

7 days in the shelter is not very long to find a forever home. Those poor animals! These places, high kill shelter, should be renamed into slaughterhouses. Shelter is a word akin to sanctuary, so in this case it does not fit.

I'm sorry, I just can't take this seriously.
Saying no-one wanted him because of his looks...I doubt that. A dog like this would have more of a likely chance of being rehomed over any bull breed, black dog or "plain" looking dog. I think if there was any reason he was unwanted at the shelter was because of being unlucky or his behavior most likely.
I agree. Highly intelligent as he is, being locked in a boring kennel all day probably made him freak out a bit. My guess is he became hyperactive and pretty mouthy, from being very excited, once he was given the chance to interact with people.

Always remember we must repent of our sins (sin is transgression The Law Of Yahuah The Father in Heaven. The Law are The Books: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, & Deuteronomy). We must repent of our sins and Have Belief On Yahusha The Messiah. HE Died and Rose three days later so that we can be forgiven of our sins!
