My cat Mittens was on my shoulder all day every day as a kitten. Now, as a full grown cat, he will still hop on my back and drape himself around my shoulders. It really is hilarious and adorable. He loves hitching a ride between rooms on my hubby’s shoulders since he is bigger. We don’t mind at all. My mom thinks we are both insane...lol.

I had a cat Leo when I was a kid that rode on my shoulders. I'd snap my fingers and he'd jump up. We also went on walks without a leash crossed roads etc. Best cat I ever had.
my boyfriend's dad's dog does this, she's a boston terrier pug mix and she'll climb right up on your shoulders and lay there for as long as she can haha

My Cat Derby understands when I tell her to call me Momma and that she does late at night and immediately wakes me from my sleep. I believe that cats understand our language very well we just don't understand theirs sometimes. My cats let me know when someone is coming to my front door minutes before they even drive up! Remarkable! Don't ever underestimate your pet's abilities because they are probably more intelligent than you.

You don't have to *be the same* as someone else in order to give or receive love. You just have to *be.* We're all equal. We all deserve the same respect and regard that we give to those around us. Look how smart these animals are. Look how dedicated this young woman is to the daily needs of those animals. That's a family - Just like any other. :D

Humans think they’re the ultimate authority and know best.
That is another lesson learned that animals have emotions and when u take best friends away from each other they feel the loss. I am just shocked no one clued into this earlier. This story does have a happy beautiful ending.

I love both of them and I think it's great that no one put the chicken down in the dog down just because they were disabled they're so cute together🤟🤟👏👏👏🤩😍🥰🐾🐕🐓😘😘😁
The chicken herself doesn't have a disability, it's how their breed is. I don't know why you think someone would have put her down....
But in the video there was no (at least mentioned) disability for the chicken.
The dog was abandoned and left to freeze, most likely due to his birth defect, which in my opinion is worse than being put down as it takes longer and is more painful.
It is great that the dog was found though as it means he now gets to live his life happily with his friend and get the care that he needs.

Well done. I tried it with my last kitten. It just lay there like a dead spider - or was trailed along the ground. I had to give up pretty quickly.

After watching Mr. G and Jelly bean, I realized that I will never be able to separate my two Mares. One is actually the mother of the other and I was thinking about separating them and allowing my dad to take the daughter but now I will never separate them. I knew they lived each other but wow, I’m amazed at how much they can love each other.
On behalf of your horses, I thank you for your decision not to separate them. I have been involved with animals in many capacities for over 55 years, and separating strongly bonded animals is one of the worst things one can do. When I was very young, we had to put our older dog to sleep, so we took her to the vet. The younger dog (about 3 yrs old, vigorous and healthy) died about 10 months later. He never stopped looking for his friend, staring intently out the window toward the park we all used to go to, and when he was on leash, if he saw a dog in the distance that looked like his friend, he would go nuts until we got close enough for him to realize it wasn't her. It makes me cry 40 years later to think of it, and I still feel terribly guilty. The good lesson I learned, however, was to always have a vet come to the house when the time comes to deliver a beloved companion from intractable suffering, and to let all the animals in the house see their friend. Animals seem to have an understanding of death, and they can recover from such a loss more readily (usually) than having their buddy simply disappear one day. We even had this happen to one of our tortoises - when her brother died suddenly, she stopped eating and wouldn't come out of her cave, tho she was young and previously very active. The two of them had slept and eaten together, and even played tag and hide and seek! Her grief went on for weeks, and we thought we'd lose her too. Finally we found another tortoise of the same species and age, and our original girl slowly recovered (tho they have never bonded in the same way as the sister and her brother). Please, everyone, if you have companion animals who have developed a bond, I beg you not to let them be separated if it's humanly possible.

They did excellent for it being their first time taking care of a baby squirrel that small. A lot of times they will not live when that small but they did perfect. I love that Wally has his own room and he has the perfect hiding place for his nuts.

Lovely story! I have a pet Rhode Island Red chicken! Last July my daughter found her in a parking lot all by herself. She was a few weeks old and this happened on a Friday night so we were unable to have anything but an old Guinea pig crate. So she stayed in my shirt and slept with me all weekend and it was true love! We have bought a 6 chicken coop (which means big enough for 3, lol) she has a large fenced in yard to roam in with her favorite cat (1 eyed Garf but that is a different story) but she still comes in off and on during the day and sleeps in her "bedroom" inside. Is that wet dog food your silkie is eating? My bird "C-BIRD aka Chicky Babies, loves wet cat food! We get 5 to 6 eggs a week and it is a real ritual thing when she is ready to lay! Looking for a silkie and another RIR chicken for my hobby now! Great story! My chicken is so funny and she is devoted to me! Wonderful during covid Quarantine! She makes us laugh and smile all day and she is totally spoiled!

I've known for a while that some dogs have a sense of humor. It was a surprise to see that the squirrel has one as well.
I wish people had more of the same instincts and unconditional love for our fellow humans. Really all we want is to be loved, each one of us. It's the lack of love that prevents growth and well being in all of us and animals. More understanding and love is what we all need!💞 Thank you all for your ability to give in abundance!! 💓

Those wheels are much too big for that Chihuahua. They do make lighter ones that will help him move about and even lie down when he needs to.

I love this video. Wouldn't it be cool if people could be as tolerant as animals? Most creatures accept each other and just let it be. Humans could use the same attitude about each other.
Grateful for the harness although I believe it is constructed of very heavy materials. Perhaps reconstructing it with light-weight materials would be beneficial to Rue's physical abilities.
