It really bugs me whenever TH-camrs critique games for that kind of thing and poke fun at the creator(s)'s abilities as someone whose grown up with English as a second language. Like, unless it's a directly harmful mistranslation/makes the game harder in some sort of way, they're just trying to make the game accessible to another audience.

Coming from personal experience, the premise isn’t too wild either. Cookers and distributors put up quite creative public fronts. In my case, it was a pet store in my hometown. It caught fire and completely burned to the ground overnight, but that building was made of sturdy materials that shouldn’t have so easily and quickly torched. There had to have been a chemical element that made the fire burn hot, so an investigation commenced and a fully kitted amphetamines lab was discovered in the basement. Sadly, all non-human occupants (with the exception of two snakes) perished in the fire. It was a really neat looking store with graffiti murals all over the outside walls. It’s been replaced by a boring gray modernist office building. 😕

This video is how I found out you worked on Freedom Planet 2! Playing through it for the first time as all the characters right now. You all did a great job, the artstyle is SO much better than the first game's. That being said I am also SO sorry because some of the animation details in this game remind me of Metal Slug and while that's good for my enjoyment as a player, it's absolute hell for the artists lol. Oh yeah I don't wanna casually drop spoilers but whoever's idea it was to put fans in the final boss's gallery exhibit deserves a medal, I laughed for a solid 5 minutes.

Also just a quick note here for if you see this, but in Portuguese (which I suspect to be the main language of the creator) the "j" are normally spelled, they don't sound like "h", and "nh" is kinda like "ny". Also two translates to "dois" not "dos" but it is an understandable little mistake since Portuguese and Spanish are quite alike, either way you did a great job on the video, love your content! This is actually a pretty good concept, like the fact that it's a tv studio that uses animatronics, and I think it would be really cool to see more of the idea of animatronics in different settings in other fan games 👍
Imagine a Fnaf fan game where your whole goal is to produce music for some rap festival. Like one animatronic is sound-activated so you have to have your headphones on, but they run out of battery so you have to make sure your music is not playing before they do.

I had NO idea you worked on Freedom Planet 2, one of my FAVORITE games of all time. It’s so expertly crafted, from the art, to level design, to the voice acting, heck, even the music slaps (though I think there are less gems in that game compared to something like Sonic Mania, my favorite song is Captain Kallaw’s theme).

(I love Freedom Planet 2) Aside from that, your friend here is really good. It's cool how they did all of the game in pixel art and the story, despite the beginning being a bit weird, I was into it. I really like how the player gets to meet the ghost and learn about their personalities, that's something you don't see in most fangames. I say you gave the people justice for bringing their game into the spotlight on TH-cam.

Either the cooking part is a reference to ‘Cooking with Lacey’ horror game. As if you don’t cook properly enough Lacey will go crazy and *unalive herself in the end. The Lacey games are very entertaining but it is a little scary and fear inducing.
One of the more compelling FNAF fangames that I had experienced that is essentially entirely hand drawn is "One Night At Flumptys." Each game assumes you have some understanding of FNAF gameplay but changes the formula just enough to be compelling. All the denizens start becoming active piecemeal until 4am on normal difficulty, and there's a hard mode that activates everyone by 1am. In either case, the game is one night each. So, it doesn't outstay its welcome by the end. Also, no idea you had a role in Freedom Planet. Congrats!

Either the cooking part is a reference to ‘Cooking with Lacey’ horror game. As if you don’t cook properly enough Lacey will go crazy and *unalive herself in the end. The Lacey games are very entertaining but it is a little scary and fear inducing.

One of the more compelling FNAF fangames that I had experienced that is essentially entirely hand drawn is "One Night At Flumptys." Each game assumes you have some understanding of FNAF gameplay but changes the formula just enough to be compelling. All the denizens start becoming active piecemeal until 4am on normal difficulty, and there's a hard mode that activates everyone by 1am. In either case, the game is one night each. So, it doesn't outstay its welcome by the end.
