There are mainly two methods for the hay making ; one is traditional ( under sunlight) and the other is using machinery and barn drying equipment. The quality of fodder deteriorates with advancing Maturity.

The process of drying the green crops without disturbing their taste aroma and nutritional value is called CURING.
Hay has less than 15% moisture.
Advantages of hay are that we can eliminate unwanted things . There is less chance of spoilage of hay than silage
Disadvantages of hay are to make hay extra labour is required. 10-15% nutrients are lost. It is weather dependent

i got to know that Immature forages have low yield but high digestibility and protein content while mature forage is opposite it. Hay is sun dried fodder having less than 15% moisture. some crops for hay making are berseem, oat, Lucerne etc. factors like quality of crop, fertilization, and stage of maturity of crop when harvested can affect the quality of hay.

Late stage harvesting of forage crops can have good quantitative results but poor nutritive quality. Early stage harvesting of forages can give good nutritional quality but poor quantitative yield. So a balance is considered while the harvesting time is decided.

1: Because of cutting in rainy season as there will be more humidity & because of humidity it may have mycotoxin,
2,Quality also deteriorates when it becomes more mature.

Ans:-The goal of hay making is to reduce oxygen and increase acidity rapidly, so that lactic acid bacteria grow to stabilize and preserve the forage. Stimulants, such as bacterial inoculants, sugars, and enzymes, are intended to improve the growth of lactic acid bacteria and acid production...This is how lactic acid bacteria plays important role in hay making....
