My husband is a pharisee, he argues, creates controversy, argues, makes a spectacle in worship, in our home, in our peace..he is born sda and very strict. Its drudgery and now me and my two kids have depression. We hide our depression cuz then he accuses us of being weak and not Christians. We pray for help everyday.

Amen. Jesus is indeed a Master Teacher, One filled with truth and grace. He perceived each and every attempt of the religious leaders to entrap and trick Him. He let them know that He knew what they were doing by the way He responded--sometimes with a question, an illustration, a reference to a familiar story but always in kindness. So gracious. He didn't call them out and embarrass them. He didn't call them names. He didn't ignore them. Full of grace and truth, He answered apppropriately, kindly and truthfully. An example to each of us who want to lead/teach.

Good morning, Pr. Mark, I would like to thank GOD and you for dedicating your time to teach us and encourage us to study the holy word of God.
Please, I need your help with a verse that many misunderstand, many interpret it wrong, but first I want to tell you that when we studied lesson 6 From the inside out, on Sunday, August 4, where the Pharisees had their own ritual of spiritual purity, it was clear to me that it was not referring to what food we should or should not eat.
As a result of this topic, I remembered this verse found in Colossians 2:16 Therefore do not let anyone judge you be what you eat or drink..... I understand that here the bible are not telling me that I can eat whatever I want, I understand that the bible are not telling me that I can eat pork, but I do not know how to demonstrate with the Bible that what it says there is something else. Do you understand me, Pr. Mark? Please Pr, if you have a little time and can help me with the answer, I thank you very much in advance for your response, many blessings in your ministries.

Thank you for the lovely summary Pastor mark. Just one question on Tuesday's lesson. in Mark 11:30, Jesus asks the religious leaders about the baptism of John. Can this baptism be taken to mean the same as the baptism by John (or John's baptism) as described by Paul in the book of Acts 19:4?
