Great video! Easy instructions for a lady who has never had to light a pilot light, let alone troubleshoot. Thank you so much for saving me time and money. I would have never known about the reset button otherwise.
Glad I could help. Thanks for watching!
Thanks so much my friend! I did not know to keep the pilot light depressed for 90 seconds until the unit started flashing. That was the key for me...Saved me a visit from the plumber and $$$
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! You just saved me from being ripped off. 😊
I tried to light the pilot 3 times last night, pausing 10 minutes in between as instructed on my unit. Nothing. The next step is to call for service repair; they don’t mention the reset button at all.
Before calling today, I decided to do a quick TH-cam search and picked the shortest video with a unit that looked like mine. 😂
JACKPOT!!! 🎰 💰
I wasn’t sure it would work because the reset click was very faint and I don’t have the same view of the pilot flames as you but I did hear the flame ignite and the status light started blinking right away, once every 3 seconds indicating normal status.
Thanks again! Feels great being able to do things on my own unlike my helpless mother and myself 10 years ago. Lol
Glad this video helped you. Thanks for watching!
Very useful video
Fricken ROCK!!!! Was working on this for an hour until i found your video!!! It was the cluster reset that was my issue. You were the only one that had that fix thank youuuu sooo much!! My landlord is also thankful!!!
Glad this video helped. Thanks for watching!
Hi, I followed your procedure to the T. My issue is after the pilot light is on, the status light won’t come on at all after holding the knob for 90 seconds. And I repeated this process after 10 minutes per the instructions on the tank and the status light won’t come on so when the knob is let go, the pilot light turns off.
You’re a life saver, thank you. Enjoy a new subscriber!
