I agree with the others, you teach us what we can do to figure out what face form we are. Also, you advise us the cuts and styles that work with round faces and you teach us why those work on round faces. Like many women, my weight fluctuates. My face shape changes with a gain or loss of 10 pounds. Then I need a new cut, style and and color. I would love a video on how color works to age or youthen us, flatter or not flatter face shapes. Please continue to explain in detail on all of your future videos if possible, we want to know the "why?" . Once we understand the reasoning, we can go out and drop tons of money on our hair and come away knowing we look great and the process was worth every penny! Thank you John!

Like how he got to the point and use the actual facial structure to make his argument. I just wished he used more normal models for the style not just celebrities. So you could see the similarities and feel even more connected.

I have put on a bit of weight in the pandemic and my face is more round (used to be oval/heart shaped almost) and I used to always have a heavy side part with lots of different length layers around my face but wasn’t sure if that would still look good on me, glad I can tell my stylist next week to put those layers back in

I always part my hair in the middle makes my face look slim and I sometimes make side parting and braid my hair on the side leaving long fringes on my face it look great

@@JohnJohanhair I have a sharp nose and a sharp and flat jawline, so it looks like my face has well defined cuts from the side, but I also have huge cheeks (that go outside my face outline when I smile) and a small face, so it pretty much looks like a squish ball :p I hope that made sense lmao
I see , if I understand correct what you saying , then might be possibility to not have round face , is the law line is square with corners. if you have small face then some volume on top will help , and is suits to round face as well. and if your face is small then a lob length or long bob is great too. too long hair will make your face even smaller. does that help?

thank you for your comment and your question. pixie cut could work only if on top you can add volume and the sides is short enough to no add any volume on the sides. , usually works good with curly hair. with straight hair depends if you can get some volume on top with styling. if the hair is very straight and flat I would prob avoid it . depends how long it is. if is around your breast front layers( forward qraduation) as I say on the videoit works great! for length around colar bone (as medium) a lob works great .

depends how long it is. if is around your breast front layers( forward qraduation) as I say on the videoit works great! for length around colar bone (as medium) a lob works great .

I was interested to hear you say middle part is ok. Every other stylist says avoid it. You want side part to get more height from comb over
Middle parting is tricky and most cases no , but in a long front hair with no volume on the side yes as I showing on the pic , then ka yes !
