I can't speak for everyone, but $7,100 for a world tour spec bike is off the damn chain, it just proves how bad everyone is getting ripped the F@ck off! They need to come to the US to put these other dudes out of business.

Even Open Mold frames have been ridden in the TdF. I’m pretty sure Cadel Evans rode an open mold TT frame in his Lotto Team days. They were on Ridley bikes back then and Ridley simply didn’t have their Dean TT frame in the lineup yet. So they took an open mold frame and put their logo on it and Cadel and the team rode it. Not sure how successful they were. I’d have to look that up.

XDS got a lots of profile from it. not every chinese people can afford a trek or specialized bike and in fact, most of people dont know much about it. here comes xds, they sell something looks similar and cheap price. thats why they selling well.
would you ever think Tata makes good cars? probably not, so what made you think XDS makes good bikes? this channel is sponsered by xds.
this year probably is the last year for astana race in world tours, Kazakhstan govt pulls out the sponsership. i still dont think xds made a good choice for it(35m euro a year? thats insane).
