It makes me happy that yall rescue these items but it does tick me off that the stores are just so wasteful. Just adding to the landfill. I have been trying to get my hubby to go diving with me but he won't 😣

go alone. I do. My partner is a bit on the lazy side so I started taking an older lady with me. Unfortunately that turned out to be a disaster as she became greedy and took everything good for herself. I now go alone. Just use basic common sense safety.

Connie just my life - I work at a Safeway (grocery store w/pharmacy) and just the other day they tossed a bunch of canes and a couple of walkers!
Been a good trash day past 2 days. I've got a running snowblower, found a working 50 inch 100th HD flat tv, a mower and a chain saw sold for $40. A dart board, $20 in bottle returns

Paint that clock white and start again ,fabulous
After having a cat who would chew through cables and cords, if your keeping the finds for your self it is super easy to fix cut cords
I use the decorative showerhookers on my curtains you just have to hang them from the rod😊
The set of jars in the wooden holder is so cool. I love kirklands but they are too expensive. But the dumpster isnt too expensive now is it!
When the stores scribble on the wood you could always just sand it off. You both found some awesome stuff. I love the chalk board barn door frame, very cool.

When I used to work one place I worked would have to damage stuff that came in chipped or broken. I would take the itms home and decorate my garden with them.

You can repair cracks in glass with something called liquid glass, it will fill in and look new
Im looking at all that bubble wrap and packing material and Im drooling!!! Lol
if the frame itself is not broken and only the glass then take the glass out you can still use the picture frames and put another piece of glass in it
Love that chalkboard w/barn doors I hope I find one too since I find a lot of the same things y’all do BUT I definitely would of kept digging for the missing bar plus they always throw away stuff on the bottom then the garbage on top so you have to wrk for the stuff so I definitely wld of went threw everything. IDEA 💡 you cld use a curtain rod for bottom they sell them that look just like the rod on it & if u can’t get correct color just spray paint it.Always check corners of dumpsters I’ve noticed they throw parts in different corners it happened to me again on last nights dive.

Hair spray takes marker off wood let sit for a few seconds n wipe n redo till gone
Get a piece of conduit to make the bottom bar

Shower-head is just like we put in the new shower. Love it! ... cords are easy fit! ... If I can do it so can you.
Just an FYI so you know you can use windex to get off permanent marker and hair dye or like slime or stuff like that off of items you find. You can also use an acetone nail polish remover or just acetone as well.

To take off magic marker use Mr. clean Magic Eraser they work great on taking off magic marker and a lot of other stuff. Just thought I would let you know that :)

You could go to a home improvement store and check the plumbing dept for a pipe the right diameter- I know Home Depot will cut pipes to length for you...

Great video. Glad the rain stopped. We had more yesterday but I can't dive anyway my car called it quits last week. So I've been squirly not being able to dive or even go anywhere.

Maybe you need to carry wipes for the wipe off the gross stuff .
nine times out of ten hair products that have been throw out at places like that have expired or were returned and can’t be accounted for what may have been replaced in them so i wouldn’t suggest using them!
To get that marker off take a expo marker and/ or hand sanitizer and wipe it off with a towel
EXPO marker might take off the sharpie marker.
I'm so envy of yous I would love to do it I do crafts and recycle as much as possible plus keeping out of landfills is great and bubble wrap is so expensive and they just throw it out

You can buy a bar at homme depot, hair spray will take out marker on lots of stuff, old English on knocked wood and they have furniture markers to repair wood.

This is definitely legit! Kirkland's dumpster is almost a guaranteed score any day of the week... I used to work at Kirklands and we tossed lots of damaged goods from the back room and deliveries because we weren't allowed to put them on the floor. There was also an as is room for a little while where people could buy slightly damaged items at discount but we tossed that stuff too if it didn't sell quickly.
So jealous of all of the shower heads you've been finding, I need a new one so bad!

you can get something from homedepot to replace the runner for that chalkboard
You can get those galv rods in hardware store to replace the bottom one
I have that same shower head I deliver dumpsters and I was at the land fill and another truck was dumping a home depot dumpster and that's were I found it
I was 100% surprised when I saw how much trash stores throw away I got like 4 $200 under armor traveling bags infact I found slot of name brand stuff
