Omgosh this is my hometown! A little disappointed the video was so short, and you didn't go to the bat temple! That's what the city used to be known for. Please do a longer visit next time, there's a lot of interesting thing Sóc Trăng is known for! Such as bún mắm (fermented fish sauce noodle) and bánh pia as well! Happy to see your visit in general though.
Yeah! We skipped that temple as we saw similar things in some of the previous places. The city is awesome and filled with many things to experience. That’s for sure! Too bad long videos aren’t always favoured on TH-cam. Thanks for tuning in and reaching out.
That’s definitely a valid point. We touched upon it when we were in Tiền Giang province and Hà Tiên city, so if that’s what you love to see, you can check out those videos.
How is the air quality? Air quality map shows it as the cleanest air in all Vietnam. ( compared to all the other places they have measuring stations) )
We normally don’t check the stats for air quality, but it was refreshing to scoot through many rice fields or even areas inside the city. They apparently have way less emissions than bigger cities like Ho chi minh city or Hanoi largely due to the smaller size of the population.
