23:27 A Raven is literally able to solve real world problems and is why they called it a “problem solving” bird. Like turning a wide item to get it out of a tall hole, but also more complex situations. A crow was calling while you were reading that question but would have been great if it were a raven. 😂 In response to some of the other comments, I found watching the trivia game entertaining. Love your videos Everest. Keep up the beautiful work.
great job at first hot tent camping, its wonderful to see young folks enjoying our great outdoors, loved the video and hopefully theres more to come, take care
It's kinda wild, I'm a Canadian who lived in the US for just four and a half years, and never visited any of the places mentioned, but... I got a surprising number of those questions right!
Another great video . A two nighter! Try putting cheese in a fry pan with a tortilla on top of it . The cheese melts and magically sticks to tortilla and the cheese gets toasty ..yours looked good too!
@@TravelersTale was wondering if you have one of those lightweight metal ovens that sit on top of a stove? It might let you make muffins? I've never used one though ..
Good to see that you got yourselves a hot tent and stove. They make it so much more comfortable. Try using thick tree branches for your night fuel since they are denser and hold a coal longer. If you don't have a silicone sheet to set the stove on I advise you get one if you ever have a tarp floor. Excellent choice on the "little cheesy things". The perfect camping food. All in all it was my favorite of your videos yet. And I hope you don't mind some advice from an Old Sourdough.
That was so cool! Nice to see y'all enjoying a couples days camping, always wondered if a tent with edges of ground would be warm. Guess heat gets trapped in top of tent. Thanks for sharing! Mark
Enjoyed the video. Definitely use the folding saw for cutting firewood. The meals look wonderful. It looks like you two had a great time. Safe travels.
Suggest you use a "bucksaw" instead of that carpenter's saw. For limbing your tree, a folding pruning saw (make sure it locks open AND closed) would be good, too, as the buck saw's teeth are rather coarse for smaller branches. When splitting your wood, especially on the snow or soft ground, stand the wood end up on the flat surface of your first split which is lying on the ground. This'll concentrate the force on the split as opposed to spreading and weakening the force in the snow or soft ground. The meals looked very good except for that breakfast.... suggest you try out those "unusual" recipes at home before hitting the woods. And I don't think folks are that interested in watching you playing a card game for any length of time. I could be wrong, though! Have fun! Wife and I camped out on our honeymoon in northern CA back in '71! Cheers! Spamcan out.
Correct! You’re incorrect. My family. Love. Historic mind games. The. Least informed pass out after two rounds. We paint their faces while they’re out. Say the hot stove. Where did you find it..?
Always look forward to your guys videos ! Me and my boyfriend are also from PNW , we would love to make video like you guys any tips on how to get started ?
Well great have an amazing year ahead and hope u grow ur channel. Also try to make a proper igloo and see other channels Also use various methods of tents for camping and marry each other Just kidding u loog good togather
How do you like the tent without a floor? We live in Tennessee, and almost always camp near the water, where there are generally a lot of bugs. I was just looking at doing the hot tent thing, but was hesitant since they are not more enclosed.
@@TravelersTale I found one that Pomoly makes that has a screened in area, I think that is ideal for me! We don't get much snow down here unfortunately
Great video for your first time. Check out the lost lakes channel. They do a lot of hot tent camping . That may give you some ideas. Thanks for all you do!
@@TravelersTale is it lawful to cut trees? In The forest near me, you can’t cut down trees. You can only use downed trees. Y’all really got me and my husband inspired again to backpacking. Before we had our daughter, we were planning to do a bit of the Appalachian Trail. She’s all grown, so we are back to backpacking. Thanks for the inspiration.
Have you made any videos where there is no talking at all? The first part ( without talking) was very engaging. Camping videos are self explanatory. Thank you.
What I love the most about your videos is the positive energy. It just radiates through the screen 👍. Congrats on the sponsorship!

I love your videos, videos like this are usually like movies, but yours is very sincere and it feels like it.

In the winter, we can cover the snow skirt in snow and it pretty much encloses the tent. Wouldn’t use it in summer though.

We dated for years yeah
There's hope for the world...A guy and a girl camping together instead of the usual guy and his dog or even worse a guy and his guy..
