I am getting L7.29 R8.87 right now. My limiting factor is my ceiling which is causing a reflection on the left speaker - I can't put up any treatments due to it being our shared living room. I feel it is pretty good XTC and the Linkwitz are already pretty directional, so they work well wiith BACCH. Let me know if you have any questions.
I find that the ORC is very worthwhile while the XTC part is very recording depending. I think Linkwitz already gets you down that road but B4M goes farther. For me the value had been in ORC right away
@@donnywidodo8874 I am still doing the crossover in the miniDSP SHD. My plan is to move that to BACCH and then use an analog preamp to control the volume for 4 channels - both subs and both mains. I have a Hattor preamp on order with that feature. I will do a series of updates after that is in the system. I can do Xover in RME too, but the B4M is 64 bit and will be simpler in a few ways.
Wow! The vinyl through Bacch and ORC sounds amazing.
I wanted to show people that analog through a quality system like RME/BACCH is not missing anything. Glad you liked it.
Sounds great! Digital has a lot of power. Vinyl sounds a bit righter here to me though.
@MichaelAmster. Hi. You seem to be the first to publicly demonstrate BACCH with the Linkwitz LX521 speakers. What XTC do you typically average?

Does baach4mac improve the sound quality? Especially with speakers like lx521? Is it worth investing in Baach4mac?

@@MichaelAmster do you still using mini dsp dirac and xover for the subs with orc? can the rme use for as bass integeration?
