That seems to be the case in metal in general. Every tour is a random group of guys playing a catalog in the name of whatever band.

Why trigger on snare ?
Why not?
He often uses combination of trigger and mic, so it's not cheating. His blasts are really solid, trigger just gives more power ;)
I use it mostly cause then I can hear my snare in my in-ears. It is set to around a 100 to 45 ratio ( kick trigger to snare trigger) so you can hear almost no snare trigger from the PA but for some reason it is loud enough in my ears. There were gigs when I just asked for toms, snare mic, kick trigger and some guitars in my in ears, but it is not always a smart desicion (depends on gear, venue, etc) and we had 0 sound checks with Vital during this 18 show Venom tour. So we had no time to screw around with this. That's why I had only kick trigger and snare trigger in my ears. No unnecessary noise.
I always play to a click track with midi guitars in my in-ears + my kick trigger. Everything is crystal clear and perfectly consistent live every time, while sounding exactly like it does during band rehearsals or when practicing the songs at home. Quick setup with the audio engineer not needing to do anything.
Yeah, I do the same most of the time. But sometimes it is not possible.

James K this was originally written like fucking ten years ago if im not mistaken. and the faceless and vital remains had two totally different goals and ideas on how and what they wanted their music to be like and what style they wanted to go with. theres way better bands that would fit with being compared to vital remains than the faceless. that's like comparing Abominable Putridity to Avenged Sevenfold.... jajaa you just don't
