Thx for the great video! I have a question about the targeting at 14:56 tho:
    RAW 6.31 says:
Pri 2: Units in steady fire hexes.
If you need to choose between two, choose closest; then the unit with the most steps to break ties.
I believe that would mean that, since both G/2/16 and E/2/6 are both in steady fire, and both are equidistant from the WN unit in hex 912, that G/2/16 would be the preferred target with more pips showing.
But since G/2/16 is a "circle" unit, and a diamond target was on the Fire Card, that no damage would be taken by either G/2/16 or E/2/6 this round.
That is, distribute potential hits according to priority and tie breakers in 6.31; then match targeting suit, and if suits don't match the hit is wasted.
Do you have more context on your interpretation of this rule? Thanks!

Both great games. TGD is about 2-3 times the cost, and you get a WHOLE lot more in the box compared to DDaOB. Both are good for solo play, but of course DDaOB has that dedicated solitaire system. DDaOB is easier to learn, while TGD can be quite a handful. Having said that, you get dozens of scenarios in TGD, and you could play it for years, whereas DDaOB really just has the one map [with a few smaller scenarios packed in], and relies on its high replayability rather than diversity of offerings.

Wonderful video. Thanks! I was getting hung up on the rules for US movement/attack. I think I'm good to go now, and will attempt it this weekend. Have you played any of the other D-Day at ___ games, such as Tarawa or Peleu? If so, which do you prefer?
