2:05 the symbolism here is absolutely perfect. Washington changes the rules, changes the game. He sacrifices his King Position to become a Pawn. No one would ever do that. Its impossible in chess. For us nowadays its obvious that a President would leave his power after 4/8 years. Back then, in a World full of Monarchy, Kings and Queens and Sirs ("knights"), this mindset was revolutionary - and "stupid". Perfectly captured!!!
Even better, this sort of thinking is probably why America survived it's infancy. Many (or most) dictatorships end whenever the man in charge dies, particularly if there is no clearly named heir with enough power to keep his claim. Washington could probably have kept going until his death, but by that point this would have been *his* nation; we'd fall apart once he was gone. But he stepped down. Suddenly, the nation has to adapt to Washington's absence before he can become too deeply entrenched in the nation. Even better, it begins a tradition that will help keep future presidents from accumulating too much say in the nation. A strong government must always be bigger than one man.

I'm so glad I finally found an animatic that emphasized Washington and Hamilton's father and son relationship. They had so much deep emotions that most fans overlook. Its probably because shipping Lams and Jeffmads is so cute. Their relationship though was so real and not just fictional, they really meant so much to each other. I always wanted someone to portray the beauty of their relationship and you did it in such an amazing way (the way gwash looks outside and that hug made me cry), THANK YOU SO MUCH! I agree, characters like Hamilton, Aaron Burr, etc. Get so much attention that people tend to forget about Christopher Jackson. I'm not saying that the others don't deserve attention, they were incredible, but I feel like Christopher doesn't get the attention he deserves, he executed George Washington perfectly, he managed to make his voice fit the type of song. Compare Right Hand Man and One Last Time and see how he changes his tone to match the style and meaning of the song. He's my favorite character in the musical, I can't think of anyone better to play George. Christopher is irreplaceable. It actually is. He died a year after stepping down. The "teach me how to say goodbye" gig was not just a goodbye from the people... It was a permanent goodbye ;;~;; And the only time the line is used in the play is when it has something to do with death... At least he enjoyed his last year in peace. Poor dude.

You gotta respect Washington's humility in this show. Despite commanding so much power and respect he still always questions himself and doesn't try to advance his station to have the power of a king. At a song I have never cried at before and one I never thought I would cry to. I have cried. Not even because it's sad it's really heartwarming. Like after Hamilton hands him the papers and Washington hugs him was when I lost it. It shows their father son relationship and how much Washington cared for Hamilton and even though in the song he's just like "dude don't fight me on this just write it." He appreciates him writing it for him. The whole video gives off that vibe really not just that part which I love. Great job! your concept is gorgeous and I absolutely am in love with this. I feel like in that day 5'7" was pretty normal, considering everyone thought George Washington was a giant (and I like how Hamilton totally dismisses Jefferson as a candidate that could loom quite as large as Washington, considering they're both 6'2", lol). The Cheyenne were among the tallest at that time, and they averaged at around 5'10"-5'11". Europeans only started getting taller because of better diets, cleanliness and healthcare, but until then, most people averaged at 5'8". I only know this much about heights because I wanted to know whether Napoleon was indeed short, and no. No he wasn't. My life has been a lie.

That's the first time I see this song as an animation and it's awesome! These tiny details like Washington picking up the feather of the free bird he saw and giving it to Hamilton so he can write down his speech, and how you can see that is glowing from this feeling of freedom. You did a great job capturing the heart of the performance. I watched Hamilton for the first time ever thanks to Disney Plus, and found myself very surprised by how endeared I was to this portrayal of George Washington. They did a great job making him a person, rather than just a figure from history, and the sort-of father-son dynamic with him and Hamilton was touching. With your art style you managed to capture a lot of that, while adding your own style to the humor of Alexander's initial reaction. I love your ending too, with Washington walking out of the building into the crowd and saying the big "goodbye" at the end to the crowd with Hamilton looking on. It's something really special that you added to the scene, as in the play it's really just the two of them in a room by themselves. Very well done.
This is beautiful and I really think you caught the essence of all the characters' feelings. Not only that, I think you also managed to highlight how unique it is for Washington to actually step down, and how the fact that it's his choice and acceptance that made the transition of power peaceful and able to last past him.

To be honest my social studies teacher showed this in class today (its what we are learning now) and I will admit, I loved it so much that once I got home I quickly searched it up and listened and watched it one again. This was amazing, it made me tear a little because....I don't know it was just, really touching especially with the emotion put into the singing and drawings.

I'm so glad I finally found an animatic that emphasized Washington and Hamilton's father and son relationship. They had so much deep emotions that most fans overlook. Its probably because shipping Lams and Jeffmads is so cute. Their relationship though was so real and not just fictional, they really meant so much to each other. I always wanted someone to portray the beauty of their relationship and you did it in such an amazing way (the way gwash looks outside and that hug made me cry), THANK YOU SO MUCH!
PS Christopher Jackson's is probably the most underrated in the play, his voice is so soothing and powerful. The eargasm, I am not ashamed to say i have... fantasies XD
YES!! I don't mind fans creating lotsa stuff on other... stuff. But this relationship between them is so easily overlooked and, in my opinion, it's one of the most heartwarming relationships next to Hamilton and Eliza's. They have and awesome chemistry that results in pretty much a father-son friendship and, idk about all of you, but that's super adorable.

I'm not saying that the others don't deserve attention, they were incredible, but I feel like Christopher doesn't get the attention he deserves, he executed George Washington perfectly, he managed to make his voice fit the type of song. Compare Right Hand Man and One Last Time and see how he changes his tone to match the style and meaning of the song.
He's my favorite character in the musical, I can't think of anyone better to play George. Christopher is irreplaceable. His voice like you said, is so powerful and soothing, it gives me goosebumps, the eargasm is magical.

At a song I have never cried at before and one I never thought I would cry to. I have cried. Not even because it's sad it's really heartwarming. Like after Hamilton hands him the papers and Washington hugs him was when I lost it. It shows their father son relationship and how much Washington cared for Hamilton and even though in the song he's just like "dude don't fight me on this just write it." He appreciates him writing it for him. The whole video gives off that vibe really not just that part which I love.

I feel like in that day 5'7" was pretty normal, considering everyone thought George Washington was a giant (and I like how Hamilton totally dismisses Jefferson as a candidate that could loom quite as large as Washington, considering they're both 6'2", lol). The Cheyenne were among the tallest at that time, and they averaged at around 5'10"-5'11". Europeans only started getting taller because of better diets, cleanliness and healthcare, but until then, most people averaged at 5'8".

These tiny details like Washington picking up the feather of the free bird he saw and giving it to Hamilton so he can write down his speech, and how you can see that is glowing from this feeling of freedom. I watched Hamilton for the first time ever thanks to Disney Plus, and found myself very surprised by how endeared I was to this portrayal of George Washington. They did a great job making him a person, rather than just a figure from history, and the sort-of father-son dynamic with him and Hamilton was touching. With your art style you managed to capture a lot of that, while adding your own style to the humor of Alexander's initial reaction.
I love your ending too, with Washington walking out of the building into the crowd and saying the big "goodbye" at the end to the crowd with Hamilton looking on. It's something really special that you added to the scene, as in the play it's really just the two of them in a room by themselves. Very well done.

For other Hamilton songs I obviously get really choked up (like John Laurens's interlude and the Blow Us All Away Reprise) but this song stirs a different emotion in me. To be honest my social studies teacher showed this in class today (its what we are learning now) and I will admit, I loved it so much that once I got home I quickly searched it up and listened and watched it one again. This was amazing, it made me tear a little because....I don't know it was just, really touching especially with the emotion put into the singing and drawings.

Not only the song but the feelings, the expressions, and the cute, simplistic yet amazing art style just wraps it all up in an American Flag-colored ribbon. It’s the best thing I’ve ever seen.
