I watch a TON of Dice Tower videos (and have for the last couple years as my board game hobby has taken off). I enjoy almost all of them, but this series was my favorite! I really enjoyed hearing about Tom's pathway in his career. Excellent job! Thanks Tom!
This and History of the Dice Tower have been my favorite videos. Yeah, some of the top 10s are more "entertaining" because your guys' chemistry has been insane over the years, but this content sticks in my memory much longer. So much depth in the simple honestys of life.
Unbelievable series. Very inspirational. My interest has been piqued in some new areas. I even got a bit misty-eyed during some of these (err, I mean, my allergies must have been acting up). I appreciate how Mr. Vasel was willing to be vulnerable and "put himself out there" in a way that really shows his humanity.
Tom, wonderful story... TtR is my favorite game, and I now have about 22 of them, including a couple fan created ones that I've had beautifully put together... Anyway, my wife back in 2014, I think, suggested we get "this train game" she had heard of for our 14-year old for Christmas... And I eventually found you and BGG, and the rest is history...
Ticket to Ride is brilliant and always will be. It's the right amount of strategy, risk and luck. The gorgeous artwork and great theme don't hurt, either.

I wish I had known that before I bought two of my grandsons Catan for Christmas! Now buying a third grandson who is turning 11 Ticket to Ride for his birthday. Hope that’s a good call.
Ah hah!! Now I finally get it. I never thought that Ticket to Ride was all that great a game and you just love it. You rave about it like it’s one of the best games ever. It’s part nostalgia for you. I get it! Never been a big fan of this game but Days of Wonder has a serious spot in my heart. The people at Days of Wonder are just AwESOME!!!

Really good series and honest one with great personal stories that is not just wow this game mechanic wowed me at the end of the day. Thumbs up.
Ticket To Ride won over my interest to modern boardgaming more than Catan did.
Same, played a few games of Catan in the 2000s, but it was Ticket to Ride: Europe that made me start playing and collecting board games (since 2012).
Im thinkin to get Catan or Ticket to ride europe, but not sure wich one to get
