Hey Drew, I am really appreciate your efforts for helping people like me who want to learn English well. I have watched your videos for a few weeks and I can totally understand what you said in Advanced English Listening Practice. But, here is the question, when I found some other channels like Crash Course or TV drama like Modern Family, it seems a little difficult for me to catch up with the speakers or actors. I think it might because of the speed and the accent they speak. Honestly, I didn't find a way to over come this problem. Could you please tell me what should I do and what can I do? Thank you.

thank you drew! I loved the way you applied what you have learned from the book to the problems that your listeners commonly have. I will remember this next time I have an opportunity to talk with a native

It's a very interesting subject, and anyway your videos are always full of interesting points of view.
Very often you can talk about a comfort-zone and a no comfort-zone. But it is still very difficult to break out the comfort-zone 'cause generally you can't even understand you are in that. However, I think that every day in our life we have to challenge our limits. Especially when we were children. Eventually we maybe have partially lost that capability.

My goal in life is to achieve proficiency in English and to help other people around the world although I know that I'm going to learn this language for all my life I guess you still encounter new vocabulary expressions idioms and stuff like that but achieving native like fluency or even literacy is realizable literally I've just fallen in love with this language perhaps it's strange I don't see the point in learning other foreign languages if you can speak two languages fluently (one is English)that's great you can translate stuff from your first language to English then from English other people translate to their languages we have to spread English

Money is really bad. It contaminates the soul. Should we aspire to wax pristine by eschewing all venalities? As for becoming fluent, I try to read classic books though I feel it is not enough
