@koolaid33 it worked out well. They still survived after they built the tower of power. The Sega cd, 32x was a flop. But the Saturn was a bop. Dream cast was a bop too but they just gave up.

@@ataikonotatsujinplayer2610 1 year reply but whatever theoretically speaking this SHOULd still work, as sonic 3 and snk combined are 4mb, the max a cartridge can hold, if you add another snk cartridge on top of that, itll read the bottom 2mb of the code, which i persume would be sonic 3s code taken from the cartridge on top, and then repeat this cycle until we get to the console

Oh yea that’s I beat Sonic 3 & knuckles, fun times, plus as a kid it wasn’t easy beating those collect the blue stages. The 1st blue stage is easy to introduce it to you, then you got to do jumps, tight turns, and speeding up trying to avoid red balls. Thankfully with game genie collect 1 blue ball, and congratulations you got a chaos emerald, becoming Super Sonic much easier. Plus in 2nd part of the game it’s abit harder to find chaos emerald stages, and if you want the best ending flying though space as Super Sonic you needed to get all Chaos emeralds again. Fun times.
Nah they needed a "cheat" for sonic to be able to breathe under fking water cuz i HATED those levels. Those levels were the main reasons that i stopped playing altogether

SEGA in fact officially licensed the Game Genie and gave it their official Seal of Quality.
It was one of their strategies to seem like a better friend to companies and consumers than Nintendo. Not sure how well it really worked :/
