As a retired Firefighter/Engineer I'm impressed with how much forethought was put into this tiller.

That truck is awesome! Nothing short of a work of art! Hats off to the design team on that one.

What a beautiful rig. Glad to see some firefighting traditions remain like putting a bell on the front.... and the Federal Q. Kudos 👍🏻

Great looking rig! I was privileged enough to see it in production while doing a final inspection for a customer and plant tour back in August. It will meet and even exceed all your expectations for years to come. #BigRedR

I really like the rig and I think you put a lot of thinking on what would work for you. Thank you for showing us, tillers are my favorite.

The Tiller joystick is reason enough for me.

We have a rosenbauer truck where I work and it's been out of service longer than it's been in. Good luck, you're gonna need it

Probably depends on the dealer, my department has a pierce that’s always down. I wouldn’t nail it down to the brand

Good choice on mirrors, I was with a volunteer department that got a truck with both mirrors way out front, drivers mirror was useless, couldn't even see the line to back into the app bay

I coming down this week and I would like to know if I can come down and look at it in person. I use to be a volunteer fireman for St.helens Oregon for seventeen years. I enjoy your new firetruck.

I have to ask, does the truck have a water light indicator? The San Luis Obispo County Fire Department has a light system on the engines behind the Engineers and Captains side of the engine plus to the rear of the engine. As they get low on water, the system lights change, when it's full, the lights are green and then yellow etc.

I dont know., i just have a hard time conceiving why a fire departmen serving 6,275 people with an average building height of 20ft needs a 1.5m to 2.0m vehicle that may get 4 calls a year while the rest of the department gets on average of 200 calls per year...seems like an epic waist of tax payer money to me...
And fyi., ive served a vol fire department for 20 years, and i just hate seeing money ( good ) money go to waist on equipment that ( cant ) be fully utilized within its life span.... I
Thats ( just me ) but it is a bad ass trucks

With city growth, I imagine the truck will get more and more use.

Who the hell ordered those mirrors? The right side one is off a 90’s Ford Econoline motor home, the left side is off a Hino box truck. I’ll take the driver’s mirror, I cannot understand the officer’s side. If you wanted great visibility, get truck mirrors, like off a Kenworth. The small size and offset location compared to the driver side isn’t good for orientation.
As well, they do know these can be driven without a tillerman. Just have to drive it like a conventional tractor trailer.

I know I'm late to the party, but at the end, I think there is no tillerman in that cab while the rig is driving down the road.

Holladiewal correct. There doesn’t have to be a tillerman to drive the truck, but then it drives like a conventional tractor trailer.

I wish Rosenbaur would just make their trucks looks good. They look like toys... Horrible lines on all Rosenbaurs.
