I agree, I can't believe the prices for property up there, Not my dream destination anymore because of greedy people and they think that these prices are terrific 😡😡😡😡😡
Maine is great in the summer, but summer is so short. Maine is too expensive for us native Mainers. We can’t afford to live in our own home state. Maine weather is harsh for most of the year. Like my Dad said to me, “You’re always preparing for winter.” That’s why my Dad and brother moved to Florida and my sister to N. Carolina. Us Mainers always live with winter in mind. So, I really can’t see why prices in Maine are so ridiculously high. Maine only has something to offer during the very short summer. I would say rent something in summer and don’t buy for a summer home.
It's a lovely little place, but that price is ridiculous. The average Mainer couldn't afford that. That's geared for an out of state buyer thinking it's a bargain.
So everyone seems concerned about an “outsider” moving in here. They apparently do NOT like out of state people. I don’t want to move anywhere I’m not welcomed…for any price. Maybe they are mostly struggling there instead?
It’s not that native Mainers hate out of staters.. it’s frustration with tourists buying up family homes and tourism prices on everything from food to transportation. Meanwhile blue collar families, industry workers etc can’t afford to live in our home state. When examining the price its important to remember this is an ocean cottage home next to robust little cities and so so much just steps away!
I hear that but not everyone had the same opinion. We had seven offers, four of them over $700,000. I also work with buyers and it IS challenging to find the right place.
Maine has out-Priced itself. Truly!

Montana has, too.
The whole country is out priced

Such a cute little cottage. I just love the interior design; so thoughtful warm, and welcoming.

It’s nice, however I wouldn’t pay that price!
Mainer born and bred… Nice little home, but in excess of $500,000!?!? You gotta be kidding!
I hear you….the market is still hot….especially this close to the beach. This just closed for $705,100!
Is that a "Shared" parking/driveway?
No, it is not a shared driveway, it goes with this house. Thanks for watching!
No fireplace???? That open concept floor plan would be hard to heat.
It’s not a big huge house.
I just saw the price and you gotta be kidding me 😡😡😡😡
It is cute, but need a garage to keep my car and toys safe and dry.
Yikes! $600k for a tiny lot? Show the same place in winter.
So expensive. Locals can’t buy it. So sad.

Greed. No way in heck is that place worth $600k. Even at $350k is pushing it. This is giving off “You will own Nothing and be happy” vibe.

Good lord this sound's way overpriced
