I keep going back to your old videos too. I am so glad I found your channel. I recently bought a tablet and Pattern Keeper. Yesterday I started a large new HAED and I am using your method of not closing in stitches. I am enjoying it. Pattern Keeper is a real game changer. Thanks for everything.
The reds are lovely and rich. Good progress! I keep old sewing needles in a pill bottle too. The used rotary blades for cutting fabric come in a plastic cases, so I use them for duller blades. My daughter is a vet tech so I give her everything occasionally and she puts them in the industrial sharps container.
I use felt as well. I hadnt thought about it keeping me from feeling the fabric because I mostly stitch on 25 ct lugana and its not as rough. I use the felt so that when I have to move the fabric the qsnap doesnt distort my stitches. I also have told some people that cross stitch and diamond painting is just like color by number. One uses thread and the other uses resin diamond pieces. It helps people understand how you know where to make the next stitch. I use that as a reference all the time. I dont know why anyone would be offended by that.
When I had my first son I was sterilizing some baby bottle nipples. I was sitting in the living room and completely forgot they were on the stove. My husband came in and said let’s go see your Mom and Dad. Ok. Two hours later we were coming up the apartment steps and I remarked oh someone is burning rubber. We walked in and there was ash floating around the apartment and I then realized I had left the pan of nipples on the stove. The bottom of the pan was gone and so were the nipples. We were so lucky a fire hadn’t started. Then to add insult to injury I had to go out and buy more nipples so I could make his bottles I keep an empty pill bottle with my sewing machine and with my cross stitch supplies so I can put my used needles in it.
Gemma, I just found your floss tube, and I think it is great. Your finishes are beautiful. Will you please show what stand you are using that holds snaps so well. I would appreciate it. Thanks. Nancy

Love watching the colours flow in this area. Nice progress

We do the punch buggy game here in the U.S. but we called it slug bug.

Thank goodness you got home before it started a fire

It is the Michael’s Hooks and Loops brand stand, I have a video that shows it here
th-cam.com/video/w1dqKWE8yxM/w-d-xo.html
Gemma, what is the name of the stand you use? I have a loops and threads stand that I got from Michael’s that I don’t use if you want it.
Yes that is the one I use
