Just got this and its solid. Many of the reviews I watched went way overboard with it, doing 20-30 strokes to sharpen and then about the same again for honing. Rediculous Like you I did just a few per side for each step and its razor sharp.
That did a wonderful job on those dull knives. It’s great to have to keep your knives sharp. Great review on it Tommy. Have a wonderful Fourth of July Tommy and CHEERS.
Hey Tommy, great video I bought myself a present last Christmas a real knife sharpener wow what a difference I’ve had my knives since the early 90s and I’ve tried a couple different sharpeners kind of like you and none of them really work that well, enough to get by but when you get one that can cut a consistent accurate edge, makes all the difference in the world. have a great fourth my man enjoy. Will see you in the next one.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👍
Awesome lookin' knife sharpener. Looks like it does a great job. I use the Ken Onion Work Sharp sharpener. It's also a fantastic sharpener. Great video, Tommy. Have a great 4th.
Fantastic review, Tommy! Definitely, real time was helpful as far as the process goes . This machine definitely looks like it will do an awesome job with knives. Thanks for sharing, and have an awesome 4th of July, brother! Cheers 🍻🎆🧨🎇
Good review but a tip, use a pen to see what angle you should use. There's plenty of videos on TH-cam how to calculate angles, Japanese knives uses angles of 11-15 degrees and western chefs knives uses about 15-17 degrees. And with a steeper angle the knives would be even sharper! Once again great honest and funny review but learn how to calculate angles so you don't have to reangle all your knives :) Keep up the good work!
Love your cooking vids man but I would advise people to take the time to learn how to sharpen their knives on stones. I suppose if you have a $20 knife its probably not a concern but for the price of this thing you might as well sharpen that knife on a bench grinder. My best to you and look forward to your next cook
I can take my knives into my neighborhood sharpening guy for about $5 a knife once a year. I don't need to pay $377 thank you! However, if I wanted to charge for my sharpening services, it would be worth it!
Idk alot about knife sharpening but although this clearly did a great job,i cant help mentioning i have and use a sharpener that was around 5 bucks or so that works incredible with the same results as far as i can tell. I have one of those small ones that you put knife upside down on the counter and run this sharpener across the knife 2 or 3 times and thats it,its got tungsten blades in it and it works suprisingly good actually so i would never consider buying a machine that takes up even more space that none of us probly have. Maybe this machine can do a little better than one of these cheap sharpeners but i cant imagine it can make much difference, i can slice through paper just as easy as you did. Not a knock on you at all Tommy, just strictly talking products here.

Appreciate the video. 376 bucks is tough, though. I may still get as my knives are pretty high dollar investments. Thanks again.

All that and you didn't even use 1 bandaid 😂 Great review, Tommy! Happy 4th of July, brother!👍🎆

Looks like a great bit of kit but £350 for what is essentially a bench grinder seems a little steep.
Appreciate you watching and dropping that comment.
