I have mentioned this before but as Marlisa celebrates her (20th) birthday this month, I decided to return to this video... I flew from Florida, in the US, to Sydney to spend some time with Marlisa's parents (with whom I have become good friends) and to attend Marlisa's two nights of concerts (with Ronan) at this State Theatre in Sydney... What I would like to say to anyone who also has come back to view this video is... Everything you think you know - or feel - about Marlisa Punzalan is true. She is an absolutely extraordinary PERSON (yes, she has a God give talent but). Marlisa is as thoughtful and humble a person as exists on this planet. In my job in the States I have worked with Phil Collins & Sting, Martina McBride, Fiddy Cent & Snoop Dogg (certainly an "eclectic" mix, one might say), along with hundreds of other famous athletes, actors and actresses and I have never met anyone who has impressed me more - as a person - than Marlisa Punzalan… You came here for a terrific reason... Marlisa is, simply, a remarkable and inspiring young lady...

@@MrMuncieman - I work in TV in the US and have become very good friends with Marlisa's parents (and Marlisa as well) and let me say I have never met nicer, more sincere, more respectful people than the Punzalans… Ever... I am a volunteer with a team of American soldiers and Marines who lost a limb serving in Iraq & Afghanistan - WoundedWarriorAmputeeFootballTeam.org - and Lisa and her family flew all the way from Sydney to San Francisco to help honor these amputee war heroes prior to Super Bowl 50 (I work with the NFL)… Just an incredibly noble gesture, I think you might agree?
Chris thank youi for a very kind and wonderful note. I believe the year was 2014 when Marlisa won it. Never before or since have I watched a more wonderful talent show. I watched every session and got to see a beautiful sweet young girl bloom into a more wonderful young lady and serious singer. I remember every week of that show and all the great songs she sang. What a beautiful, kind and special young lady she is. It was a great season getting to know her and Rowan and all the help he gave to her. Thank you again.

I really like this. I have to admit that I'm a little disappointed that Marlisa didn't sing a verse by herself. This is beautifully done.
she did a little at the 1.56 mark in the song, check it out , backup people sang with her, but Ronan wasn't singing
