Definitely take reviews with a grain of salt. And we all have our preferences too. I can say that a fragrance didn’t work for me or I didn’t enjoy it and it’s someone else’s favorite fragrance ever. Extremely variable

I feel like Guidance is the next Delina in terms of popularity. I'll get a bottle because it's a beauty and lasts on my skin forever. It's a perfect gift for Mother's Day. I never liked Aventus for her, smells sour/ bitter on my skin.

I opted for Tiziana Terenzi Delox instead of Intense Cafe but they smell pretty much identical in my opinion. I LOVE it. I don’t know one single vanilla lover that doesn’t have Vanilla 28. It’s a staple.

Amouage Guidance is selling out here in Lisbon, too. I walked into a boutique and a woman who could not speak English asked me to type the name into her phone so she could buy it based on smelling it on me for a few seconds.

One of my favourites definitely worth the hype is Dama Bianca by Xerjoff. I love it on its own. I love it layered with other fragrances. I can say the same about Rouge Smoking by BDK.
I LOVE Dama so much and can’t see how so many people don’t like it lol. It’s a little polarizing but its one I will probably always have in my collection.
I waited a whole year before I finally got my Babycat, and when I finally did, I felt it’s worth the hype, worth all the time I spent hunting it. Finally I asked a friend(who went to UK) to get it for me then when I had another chance(another friend went to Dubai) I even got a back up bottle. Even though I have both Vanagloria and RM#5, both often compared to Babycat, I still think I NEED Babycat. It’s so so painfully hard to get this fragrance but I’m very happy now that I have it. 🥰🥰🥰

Glad I didn’t return my Guidance. It was a blind buy and first bottle from this house. And I love it especially the dry down. I can still smell it after washing my clothes. Worth it 💖

I blind bought Guidance and loved it, but I tested Escapade Gourmand and disliked it! Fragrance is individual!!

I FINALLY GOT BABYCAT!!! Sissssss you had me searching high and low. The only thing they had available was the big bottle but I didn’t care…. cC info entered quick. I received it and you are absolutely right…. It’s worth the hype and coins. I paid a little over $300 for the 4.2oz. Thanks for turning me on to this as well as Rosendo Mateu No 5… it’s easily in my top 5!!!

It’s crazy bcuz the way you describe vanilla 28 being more complex is the way I describe Escapade Gourmand 😅 EG is has so much sweetness and depth to me. Vanilla 28 is super basic and straight forward to my nose. I’m not even a Vanilla girl but EG has my whole heart 😊 but like you said fragrance is subjective
I smelled Escapade Gourmand in Lucky Scent a couple of weeks ago, it's such a lovely easy reach. Babycat is one of my all time favorite fragrances, and I agree they need to work on the availability of perfumes in all countries. Being in Canada we have this problem frequently - it costs an arm and a leg to get alot of perfumes here, you guys are so lucky that luckyscent and Saks ship to the US - half the time I get an error notification saying "this cannot be shipped to your location". So I totally relate!! Love your videos Sharida 💗

Guidance is that girl.. I hesitated to try it cause of the price tag but it is soooo good! On my to buy list, Escapade Gourmand too.

Lancome's Oud Bouquet is Bae! 😍 it stays on your body for a whole day abd clothes forever. I sprayed this on a scarf and sent it to my daughter's daycare so she wouldn't miss me, and I promise they tokd me to cone re-spray after more than a week.Mon Guerlain used to be my daily work sent for like 2 years.

Hi Sharida! Very good list. Oud Bouquet is still my baby and ranks number 1 in my collection! I’ve worn my original formula down to 1/4 bottle and have started using the reformulated version. Not as powerful or sweet as the original, but it’s still good. I wear the original on special occasions now. And it’s not outrageously expensive. I just wore Ani on Thursday! Mon Guerlain EDP is my number 3. I have to restrain from wearing it because it’s such an easy reach. Vanilla 28 and Lost Cherry are a must. They are in a category by themselves. I blind bought Creed Wind Flowers at a 50% discount and it was just okay. This was my first Creed purchase and at a retail of over $400, I was not impressed!! But Vanilla 28 layered over Wind Flowers saved the day! A $100 fragrance layered over a $400 fragrance to make it work causes me to SMH! I would love a bottle of Babycat, but I will wait. People charging folks $700 need to be ashamed of themselves. Stop the madness!!🛑 Have a great weekend! - Ms. Charlette

Don’t wear Ani if you are bothered with sinus issues! My first time smelling it, I was sick with sinus issues and Ani almost took me out 😂😂 but Ani is a favorite of mine

Ani is a fragrance I wasn’t bothered about at all, I didn’t even think I’d like it but I was in Harrods and sampling some fragrances and I smelt the cap, and sprayed it on my skin without thinking anything… it was an instant love at first sniff.. definitely have to try vanilla scents on the skin 😍😍 now I have the oil too.
Funnily I agree with you on almost all of these 🥰 I’m waiting for my Babycat to be arrive, they’ve restocked in the UK! I love Escapade Gourmand, Oud Bouquet, Arabians Tonka, instant crush, Greenwich Village, Delina Exclusiff - in my opinion they’re all the worth the hype 💯
Ani x is so good!it's definitely more feminine. They cut out that harsh greenness. 😊 they also made hacivat more feminine also,added some sweetness with orange blossom. ❤

I have a sample of Creed Aventus and didn’t like it, I’m going to play with it again. I feel that my nose has matured a little since I first got it. I have most of these on your list 🥰 and love love them all.
It definitely leans unisex and maybe even masculine to some women. But its a powerful sweet boss babe scent IMO.

Hi Sharida, you reminded me that I own Intense Cafe and Mon Guerlain. Those were two of the fragrances that I purchased at the beginning of my fragrance journey. Mon Guerlain is absolutely gorgeous! While there are many that I feel are worthy of the hype, I'll just mentioned two: Venom of Love and Boadicea the Victorious Bodacious. Oh, I would also add Sospiro Vibrato. ❤
I really need to to try the Boadicea! I still own nothing from the house but I just know the fragrances are probably so spectacular. 😆

I tell you... not having Canadian friends is really weighing on my Babycat lovin' heart. I've bought a couple decants and a beautiful version from Dapper to hold me over until I manage to bring the bottle into my collection.
I so wish I had gotten a 125ml bottle.
I have a Decant of Oud Bouquet and now I really like it a lot...at first it was to much for me...but if can find a nice price...I may definitely add it to my collection

Their all sold out everywhere of it at the moment besides mecari. Believe me I tried to buy it, but it’s on back order everywhere!

Jus de Rose called it- babycat is definitely Amouage’s vanilla barka oil & Rosendo’s #5 together. I have both of those & a decant of babycat- exactly the same.
In love Aventus For Her. I have the original AND the V Dua dupe and they are both incredible. Dua did a fantastic job on that one. Incidentally I got the Creed for an amazing discount- something like $120..

Definitely appreciate the reminder to smell on the skin and I would add give it TIME to develop on the skin. Example when I first put Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille on my skin all I could smell was like a hamster cage bedding lol!!! But as the day wore on it became addictive! Similar with BR 540 but that smelled to much alcohol at first and then I loved it. 😊

Escapade Gourmand def lives up to the hype. I think its my favorite gourmand. I've been stalking SelfRidges for weeks trying to get my hands on BabyCat. I did manage to sample it before and it quickly became top 10 for me. I think I'll just have to wait until I go to the UK later on this year to grab a couple of bottles. Amouage Guidance is also very beautiful, but I'm still unsure if I love it enough to buy it. Also, Mon Guerlain is my all time favorite fragrance, I don't care how grandma's wear it.
I did not want to love Guidance but it got me on the first sniff 😂 Babycat is causing a lot of angst in the fragrance community. Glad I got my bottle

Yes! To my nose, it's giving somewhat Angelshare vibes in the opening ,but with some other accords in the drydown, presumably the leather, but I dont have a nose that can pull out alot of notes yet. All that said, I LOVE IT. ❤️
Oud Bouquet I waited until 2 yrs. OMG I have gone through one bottle. If OB is too much on its own try layering with one of the Delinas

You spoke on Intense Cafe(an oldie but goodie,one of my first niche frags early on…ima wear today. I layer with Generic Perfumes Intense Cafe oil.
I was always confused when Vanilla 28 was described as a straight forward vanilla cause like u said though Vanilla is the star of the show, there are other sweet nuances that rounds it out. It’s just so sweet and sensual. Worth all the hype it gets for sure! I don’t think I’ve run through a bottle of anything faster 😩
Right… I don’t get sensual when I smell vanilla and I don’t extract lol. Vanilla 28 got a lot of other complexities flying under the radar.
Its got a rich brown sugar smell to it that is too rich for my taste in a vanilla scent.
I discovered Escapade Gourmande about 6 months before it blew up on TH-cam, and nobody was talking about it, i was like how is nobody talking about this? Its absolutely delicious and perfect for a straightforward vanilla! I bought a full-size bottle the minute i tried the sample, I got a sample from lucky scent when they first starting carrying it
It was a blind buy for me and not a risky one because I LOVE a simple sweet vanilla 😆

I watched a lot last night so I don't remember which video it was, but as intriguing as it sounds, that one with the sugared patchouli... patchouli scares me, LOL. Thank you and so happy you have joined my little frag fam 😄!! Patchouli is my most hated note...so if its a major player I have to smell it to determine if it will work for me because there is a 95% chance it won't lol. I was seriously shocked when Kayali's Sugared Patchouli worked for me.
@@SharidaM Yes!! When I think of patchouli, I think of this hippie shop at a festival I attend, LOL... there are so many things I would try, but I see that note and am scared off. We don't have a Sephora here anymore, and even Macy's closed, so I am in a perfume "desert" - 😜🌵🌵🌵(as far as sampling in person, I mean).
I absolutely hated oud bouquet before I sprayed it on my skin. Was gonna sell it. Put it on and I was in love. I wore it last night and can still smell it. Layers really well with delina exclusif

I agree with you on a number of these perfumes. Oud Bouquet (a little goes a LONG way ), Ani, Baby Cat and Mon Guerlain are all fantastic perfumes. I agree that Vanilla 28 is a pretty good value and super for layering. I haven't smelled Creed Adventus for Her, Escapade Gourmand or Guidance yet. I liked the Intense Cafe but haven't bought a bottle yet. I have an over abundance of rose fragrances, so it hadn't been a priority. That and those metal bottles are not the most attractive... 😆

I can't remember testing YSL Babycat, but I tried Tuxedo and Caftan - I really liked the incense and richness of Caftan, very middle eastern frag, it lasted very long on the paper strip. Sadly can hardly find any of these on sale or even at full price.
They are a hard to find fragrance, especially Babycat 😩! I do want to try a few others from the range. 💞

I appreciate your videos. I have 3 on the list. Aventus for her and Ani issa NO for me, leans masculine on my skin. Guidance, Im letting it sit and will come back to it in the Autumn because it was not a love at first sniff.
The only one I have on this list is Guidance. It’s such a beautiful feminine incense fragrance to my nose. The longevity makes no sense tho. Still smell it on my clothes after a wash. 😂
Longevity is INSANE lol! Took a coat out of my trunk that hadn’t been worn in a month and Guidance was still radiating off that thing lol.

Both my Alexandre J perfumes are long lasting. I wouldn’t say beast mode, but they both have great projection and sillage.
