I hate buying fragrances that you can’t smell in another country. Like, hello?!! Also, side bar, Harrods has the best prices but the shipping fee is annoying. I need to put god on fire on my list you had me at mango and fizzy damn!! Hi Sharida! Great video as always :) I got a 5 ml decant of Rosendo Mateu N° 5 two days ago but the first hour a strongly rubber note was bothering me. The dry down is great but I have to test her on colder weather to see if something changes. I've tried or have all the other fragances you've shown and I like them (except God of Fire and the one from HOS), but this one is tricky so I recommend sampling this one specially 🙇♀️ the combo of BR 540 + OFG is bomb!
Everyone has that same reaction to No 5 initially… it was definitely bothering me. Keep sampling because I get no rubber in the opening now. Glad you got the 5ml decant so you can give it a few tries 😊

@@SharidaM That’s a great combo- but OFG is already a derivative of BR540 in a way.. I actually smelled it BEFORE 540 at the beginning of my collecting mania, so when I saw in fragrantica ppl saying it smelled like BR540 I was inspired to find out what the old 540 was- I had no idea in early 2020🤣

Concerning the oud, do you know what country they came from? I can't stand India oud but love Cambodia oud. If it's from Cambodia, I will get it in a heartbeat.

I am so excited to try God of Fire but i do have a very sensitive powder aversion. Is there a powder in it ? i absolutely love Xerjoff LaCapitale which has a bit of strawberry with a bit of leather which grounds the sweetness out. Do you know if this is similar? i live in europe so maybe it will be easier to try it living in dutchyland 🥰 I wore LaCapitale in Venice Italy i live it i wear it going out. heck i work in a nursing home i wear it to work too i want to know if i would like God of fire lol
They are not similar to my nose. God of Fire is not powdery but it had a musky base for sure. I think you may want to sample it first. It’s sweet, a little tart. bright, juicy and delicious! Rounded off some amber and woody notes.
thanks for responding i ordered the sample but i just see from alot of people that it reminds them of Baccarat rouge 540 which i absolutely hate! if i smell it even on someone i feel sick so if it has any of that doctor office smell in it i will be very disappointed lol

I don’t find God of fire long lasting at all
Very long lasting on my skin.
Good collection. But for God sake, stop telling people to layer their perfumes. Do you know how much work a perfumer puts into a perfume, they need to wear singularly. Next time you go to Paris, go to Musee de Perfume and get some indepth info on how notes are put together. Or to a perfumery.. if I pay $300+ for a bottle of parfume I want to enjoy it by itself.
If I pay $300+ for a perfume I will be wearing it singularly, layered, doubled, tripled and every other way I want lol. Sorry...not sorry. I am not a perfumer but I have a channel to share and display my own personal perfume journey. There are no rights, wrongs, or judgements here.
@OpalBeach, I can’t speak for everyone but I enjoy her recommendations on layering fragrances. If we purchase a scent, we can wear it however we choose to. If you don’t want to layer, then don’t.
