SOTD - Mon Guerlain Intense SOTN - BR 540 Extrait layered with Perfect Amber by Jardin de Parfums That Gourmand Coquin is truly something special. For as long as they're making it, I'll always have it in my collection. A recent gourmand addition to my collection is Choco Violet by Mancera. Simply Ayesha put me onto this one. The hazelnut note is front and centre in the opening. But it disappears after 30 mins and what you're left with is yummy chocolatey dry down. And it's super long lasting too.
I heard her speak of the Choco Violet and she really has me intrigued with that one! I really need to pull my Mon Guerlains back out. I feel like I haven’t worn them in months. Thank you for watching and sharing Funeka!
Mizensir is sooo underrated😍 I have a huge dent in my Poudree D'Or, so enveloping and enchanting fragrance😍 also i have Seta on the waaay, so exciting to try it, because yes it was a blind buy🤣🤣🤗
Seta took a couple wears BUT it definitely won me over. I was wearing a scented lotion with amber from BBW that was throwing the scent off for me. It’s gorgeous! Very long lasting too. Girl if you see my dent in Poudre Dor now 🤦🏾♀️. This video was filmed a week ago…now I’m at the half way mark lol 😂

Our bottles of Cherry Oud are identical down to the dent!! Loved your video and description of it. Definitely last forever, wore it yesterday and just washed my turtleneck today and took it out of the drier and I could still smell it! Beast mode on clothes for sure! I honestly didn’t think the projection was there but I was at work Thursday and a buildings supervisor said hey I wanted to let you know you smell really good. I picked up my wrist to take a whiff and said oh thank you I didn’t think anyone could smell it . LOL 😂 HE SAID I smelled you when you walked in the building!

Cherry Oud is definitely one you need to pop into a shop and test on skin first. I LOVED the way it developed on my skin. But girl that opening had me a lil scared 😂

I was the same way we libre. I didn't like the original or the intense but felt left out and wanted to like one and the Le Parfum is exactly what I wanted gourmand sweet sticky
I have been interested in Escapade Gourmand and Bianco Latte. I like strong fragrances with a good projection and sillage. Do these fragrances have good projection or sillage?
Another fab video. My scent of the day is Sultan by Royal Crown. The dirtiest, Smokey vanilla ever. Obsessed. And the bottle is gorgeous. I am definitely adding La Perla and Helwa to my list. Nomore splurging on mid performing frags (cough Escapade Gourmand and Tiholta) 😃😃😃.
😂!! I think most of the straight forward vanillas fall into the moderate performance range. But thats when Helwa enters that chat 😆. Sultan I wanted to like but there is a particular note that goes a little pickle juice on my skin… so never got a full bottle. But I do need to try more from the Royal Crown house.

Have not tried the new LV ones but I think you will LOVE the new Guerlain Ouds. I think Roja does oud better than any other house I’ve smelled. Going to try the LV you recommended!

Hey Sharida. You got me once again. I didn’t know my local Neiman’s has the Guerlain L’Art & La Matiére pop up shop for a month. I tried Cherry Oud. It smells great but not on my skin. I purchased Spiritueuse Double Vanille and Oud Nude. There are so many beautiful ones that I got samples of. YSL Parfum smells great too.
I really am dying to try Oud Nude! What is it like?! Calling my Neiman’s tomorrow lol. Spiritueuse is so very beautiful. It was only a like at first but quickly grew into a LOVE. So excited you have these gems 💎 in your collection.

Ooooh I love Possibilities from La Perla too! Actually, I love most of this list... I am dying to try the Cherry Oud and the Nude Oud, but living in rural New England makes it hard. I like to say that's why I blind buy, but maybe I actually like that element of danger.

Half of my collection is based on your reviews like Blanche Bette which I adore 🥰 but I wish the vanilla was more prominent in Possibilities.
I have to see if I can return my exilir. It’s just been sitting there since I purchased it. I’m trying to love it and like you said there’s something slightly cheap about it
For me Scherzo is my easiest oud lol. But some still find the oud to be too prominent. I’ve gotten so many into my collection this year I think my nose has really become less sensitive to it.

Escapade gourmand sounds like what dreams are made of! I have venom of love coming in the mail and honestly I just bought the decant of ysl libre parfum and am hoping it works for me! I couldn't get down with the original so I am hopeful that this one delivers. Also what's the best way to get spirtuse double vanille? It isn't easy for those of us who don't live in the US.
So far everyone I know that hated the other Libres… myself included lol, is loving the Le Parfum. Its soooo much smoother, well blended, sweet and sexy. It’s giving what I originally thought the Intense would.

Both have great sillage. Bianco Latte projects more and lasts longer.

Another fab video. My scent of the day is Sultan by Royal Crown. The dirtiest, Smokey vanilla ever. Obsessed. And the bottle is gorgeous. I am definitely adding La Perla and Helwa to my list. Nomore splurging on mid performing frags (cough Escapade Gourmand and Tiholta) 😃😃😃.
😂!! I think most of the straight forward vanillas fall into the moderate performance range. But thats when Helwa enters that chat 😆. Sultan I wanted to like but there is a particular note that goes a little pickle juice on my skin… so never got a full bottle. But I do need to try more from the Royal Crown house.

Have not tried the new LV ones but I think you will LOVE the new Guerlain Ouds. I think Roja does oud better than any other house I’ve smelled. Going to try the LV you recommended!
Now I HAVE to get Possibilities. Just add that to the long list of frags you've influenced me to buy. You NEED to try Ambre Magique from Mizenzeir. I get a log of cardamom and it reminds me of a chai tea latte.

Hey Sharida. You got me once again. I didn’t know my local Neiman’s has the Guerlain L’Art & La Matiére pop up shop for a month. I tried Cherry Oud. It smells great but not on my skin. I purchased Spiritueuse Double Vanille and Oud Nude. There are so many beautiful ones that I got samples of. YSL Parfum smells great too.
I really am dying to try Oud Nude! What is it like?! Calling my Neiman’s tomorrow lol. Spiritueuse is so very beautiful. It was only a like at first but quickly grew into a LOVE. So excited you have these gems 💎 in your collection.
@@SharidaM Oud Wood is complex and hard to describe but it’s so beautiful. It is sweet. The vendor had me try it mixed as well with Frenchy Lavande and it’s a love at first sniff combo. All thanks to you for the amazing recommendations every time.

Ooooh I love Possibilities from La Perla too! Actually, I love most of this list... I am dying to try the Cherry Oud and the Nude Oud, but living in rural New England makes it hard. I like to say that's why I blind buy, but maybe I actually like that element of danger.

@@SharidaM I ordered the 30 ML from Nordstrom, it’s not like I don’t like it I actually agree with everything you said, but my nose all I’m getting is a spicy floral but not rose dominant 😩 because I love rose 🌹 fragrances. Half of my collection is based on your reviews like Blanche Bette which I adore 🥰 but I wish the vanilla was more prominent in Possibilities.

Its smells great on my daughter and from a distance. But on me and up close it’s something really synthetic smelling that doesn’t sit well with me.

For me Scherzo is my easiest oud lol. But some still find the oud to be too prominent. I’ve gotten so many into my collection this year I think my nose has really become less sensitive to it.

Escapade gourmand sounds like what dreams are made of! I have venom of love coming in the mail and honestly I just bought the decant of ysl libre parfum and am hoping it works for me! I couldn't get down with the original so I am hopeful that this one delivers. Also what's the best way to get spirtuse double vanille? It isn't easy for those of us who don't live in the US.
So far everyone I know that hated the other Libres… myself included lol, is loving the Le Parfum. Its soooo much smoother, well blended, sweet and sexy. It’s giving what I originally thought the Intense would.
