I would put in a car or carriage park on the spare bit by the station.... or a garden with a miniature railway.

5:16 maybe you could add a tiny little duck pond? Or another siding?
I think I've hit the limit on the amount of track I want on the baseboard. While it would fill out the space, it would mean adding in a point, laying the underlay and track and ballasting to blend it in
