"Restricted area" 2 words that make me pass on a raw land purchase. My timber farm is in Marion county. No restrictions. Put in a clean and sanitary outhouse that works fine for the little use it gets. Eventual cabin build will have a conventional septic tank for black water and grey water will simply be piped down hill into the woods.Drawback of aerobic system is constant power use for the compressor, power use for the pump, and constant maintenance. And if power goes off when discharge tank is full the pump can't clear the tank so you can't use your commodes.
amos snow I agree. I wanted a conventional system but with the heavy red clay content I need an aerobic. As for the power I will have a complete house back up generator for that. Aerobic systems are the norm here now. Seems like a better way with our soil types and no issues when it rains hard and we get very saturated ground.
@@PawPaws_Place Yup to all you say. Looking forward to more videos as things come along.Got a few videos from the tornado that hit Longview last summer. The one where I'm trying to dry my laundry in the house( no power for the dryer) is a hoot.Power was off 3 or 4 days.Had 2 gensets going for the bare minimum. On your back up generator look at LPG:engine will last forever and with LPG the fuel will never go bad.
