UPDATE: The channel is changing slightly to be about developing our own land but also the start of my land development and management company "Affordable Land Management". I hope you will like the direction it is taking. I am retired from my old job and starting a new chapter in my life to include this and traveling. Maybe it will be something you too will be interested in as well. Lets learn and grow together.
This TH-cam “channel” will be all about us building our country home from the ground up. From a forest to a home. I’m sure we will make mistakes. I’m sure we will have some failures. But I’m also sure we will have some wins and I’m 100% positive we will get it done. We started with 30 acres of raw untamed forested land. We are clearing just what we need for the house and a shop. One day I would like to open a micro distillery on the back side. Maybe you will get to see videos of that one day. Stay tuned.

intermittent fuse 28 blowing fix on Ford super duty 1999-2007

If you have a 1999-2007 Ford super duty gasser that keeps blowing fuse 28 then watch this. It may be the same problem your having for an intermittent problem. I have a 2001 F350 dually that intermittently blew fuse 28 when I put it into reverse. Well it pretty much blew it all the time and then I figured out it did it primarily when I turned the truck to the right to a certain point. This video...

Thanks for the video. I decided to change my fluid and filter on my Kubota 726 zero turn after watching your video. They now use a fluid from Parker at my dealer. It was $17 a qt. Outrageous. I needed 7 quarts. But it had to be done. I had the same issue with the filter looking damaged on left side. It looks like the filter is going in and hitting something. Also had a very hard time getting new filter on that side to tighten up enough where it didn't leak.
Did ya ever find out what it was?

Thank you PawPaw from SC
Who and what person do you call for this. Im on ky lake area in buchanan TN.
Thanks for saving me a bunch of money!!
Glad I could help.
I know this is a couple years old, but do you know the part numbers from etrailer? The link provided just takes you to etrailer
I would go to their website and enter your vehicle specific info. While there you can call them and verify over the phone while your online. They are very helpful. This way you will have the best chance to get the right parts. All you should need is make model and year.
Thanks for the video. I just got an1025r with the hydraulic grapple and needed some instructions on how to remove it and put the bucket back on. Amazing how many videos there aren't showing how to remove just the grapple.
Glad I could help.
Thanks. Good info
Nicely done. Standing ovation here!
Good video.. was discussing clearing land for friends camp..now it's realistic
Great Job! I think you just saved me alot of money! lol I own two of these machines.. "Thank You" Keep up the Great work.
Thank you for the amazing video !
Where did you buy it?
I really don’t remember, but I’m sure I got it from one of the box stores like Home Depot or Lowe’s.
How do you pick up a 1500-2000 pound log when the life rating on that is just under 900 pounds? Overclock the hydraulics?
The maximum lift at the link pins is 977 lb. That’s lifting to maximum height. You can lift much more off the ground but it won’t get all the way up and you wouldn’t want to anyway. You can also maneuver the grapple in a way with the trans to help it lift even more. But you do have to be careful about tipping and not damaging the front axle. If you are going to be lifting maximum weight you should keep the wheels inside for axle safety but if you will be lifting normal weight you can flip them for better roll over protection. Best wishes.
Also that is a guess. I could be wrong about lifting up to 2000 but I would bet good money it gets 1500 a couple feet off the ground. But I may lose that beat too. 😂 I don’t have no scale so it’s all guessing.
Just got a used one. I used the backhoe attatchment and worked great. Problem is it is cutting off while driving it. 10 feet, 30 feet, sometimes dies on the spot. I saw a video that showed servicing the sediment seperator and the fuel filter. So I dod all that. But am still having problems with the tractor moving with out shutting off. Is there a bleed off for the fuel line ? I don't care for all the computer bs- " push this button twice, and that one once", etc... Not real sure what to do with the thing now.
I will guess if you got it used it may have sat up a bit. First thing I would do is put some heet in the fuel tank to get any water out. Then I would inspect the fuel tank real good to see if there is any algae. I’m thinking you replaced the fuel filter and cleaned the separator. What did the fuel look like in the separator? Was there any contaminants or algae in it?
Very helpful thank you
Nice video, i might be making an offer on a 2015 3038e today ive been wondering if itll be big enough for my little 15acres i think itll be fine after watchin this
It appears that you had way too much tension on those stabilization jacks on your RV, did you see how the RV dropped down so much when you raised the jacks. Those jacks are only for stabilization, not for leveling. The jacks are not made to support that much weight, the jacks on my RV have a sticker that says not for leveling, I didn't see a sticker on yours, but the same rule applies. By using the jacks to level the RV will result in damage to the jacks, and potentially the RV frame. Also those jacks are not supposed to be raised and lowered by a drill, I know that that was a popular thing, but I looked into it more, and using a drill makes them go way to fast and could cause damage. I hope this helps, I would hate to see your RV get ruined.
Hello sir, i just installed two brand new Hopkins 7 pin on my 02 f350. One in the bed and one under the bumper with the 7 and 4 pin. Everything works great other than the brakes and the signals. I thought it was my trailer at first, but connected the trailer to my other truck, and everything works. Im only getting 4.5 volts at the turn/brake pins. Any ideas🤔
Are you saying the brake lights don’t work or the trailer brakes don’t work?

You definitely need to have water ballast as well. It helps tremendously. Thanks for mentioning it.
I’m looking into subs in f150 glad I came across your video my only issue is this I’m trying to put 3 15s in mine with having to cut anything they do not have 3 15 boxes made for ford do you have any options
I do t know of any way to do three 15s without either laying it in the back seat with some type of safety strap or possibly removing the seat to do the same. Three require a lot of air and space. I would think you could make a single 18 box that would fit in floorboard kinda like mine but it would possibly reduce the depth the front seats can move back. One 18 would be insane. One 15 would be pretty amaze balls. 😂
@@PawPaws_Place thank you for your insight your 100% right I do need a lot of space I do have a cover on the back so I may just water proof it build a box in the back and send a ported hole threw to the cab

Hey there. 😊
Thanks, what if you have poison oak in the mix?
I would spray with a herbicide to kill it all before starting clearing.
Was your 3rd function Deere or an aftermarket kit? Love some details on what that install ran.
I have the craftsman version and its a beast
This pricing is way outdated and no one could stay in business charging that little anymore. You also have to consider how skilled and efficient the operator or company is that you hired.
This was a few years ago. My dozer operator now charges $1000 a day and I charge $800 a day to run my excavator. So a little higher.
I ah e had mine three years. Used it professionally for gravel grooming, land clearing (brush clearing and fence line grooming. Also ground leveling/grading and erosion control. Just about everything you need to do on 1-50 acres. Only complaint I have is the location of the oil level dipstick. At 5 am it is nearly impossible to get the stick back in. Situated behind the loader support, you can’t put two eyes at the same time on the dipstick hole. Lastly, the location of the key, if you get on and off the tractor often, get some extra keys, you will hit the key with your shin and bend it. I went through several before I got the feel of where it is located.
100% agree with both of your complaints! The oil dipstick is ridiculous where they put it. And I too have bent my key. They should have put the key up on the dash panel. Would have been easy enough. Thanks for the comment. 👍

Leslie it’s Layla how do you make TH-cam videos
You have to record a video on your phone or camera and then upload it to YT. You have to create a account first. I'm sure you can figure it out. :)
How's that box holding up, I'm considering getting one for my 2018 F150
It’s just as solid as the day I bought it. Still sounding amazing. Totally recommend it.
Thanks so much for this! Straight to the point. I'm looking to purchase a few acres to build a homestead in Indiana. Some of the plots I've seen are wooded. This helped a lot! It's great to have an idea of what the costs might be from someone who's done it. I now have a good idea of what to set aside for the work. Thanks so much for taking the time to explain this!
Its a starting point. And lately inflation may have changed things in your area but around here this type of work has gone up marginally.
Great video!
Thanks for the video What did you do with the piles? Getting those picked up and hauled away had to cost a bit also.
The large wood I cut 16’6” and took to the sawmill. They paid me $35 a ton. I could take 5 tons a load on my small trailer. I took about 6 loads in total. The tops and root balls and limbs I bucked I piled up and burned. It’s a lot of work but I made as much use of the downed timber as I could. Made a little money and left me less to burn. 👍
Thanks for the reply, I hope I didn’t come across as concern for the wood and implying you were wasteful. It’s your land and property in my humble opinion you can do whatever you want to it and no one should say otherwise My part time side work is landscaping and getting rid of piles was always a concern and obviously your piles had to be HUGE so I was just curious. Bc I hope to one day own land of my own but not looking good so far bc of the CCP and Bill Gates basically buying up us blue colored guys out of the market. Thanks again for taking time to respond to my simple question.
Bonfire.
Thanks for the great info. Did you sign a contract with a completion date? Were you concerned about the contractor being insured in case of accident? Out in Texas rural areas (north of Trinity) there aren't many contractors to choose from.
I paid him at the end. I didn’t ask if he was insured and I didn’t sign any contract. I told him what day to show up and I was there every day they worked.
Thanks for sharing
