Such a cute video because your personality made it adorable. I just got my first Hoya Kerrii and it's variegated. It should come in the mail this week. If I were in your place I would skip the one you're thinking about however I am not you and it seems like you will not be satisfied until you get them all so go for it lol.

No. If it doesn't make your heart jump, so no.
If you have a Hoya that’s in need of a rescue put it in a zip lock bag with some moist soil. Keep it in a bright lit warm spot ☀️that should help root the plant much faster within a few weeks without putting it in water. I’ve save many Hoya cuttings with this method 😊I hope this method will help your plants as well Happy Hoya Growing 🌱

Hoya kerrii was my gate way into hoya world. Kerrii was not my 1st hoya because I own the krimson queen & it was sold as 'strawberry & cream' houseplant.. which I didn't know that it was a hoya at the time.. hehe. 😁
When I saw the heart shaped kerrii for the 1st time, I fell instantly in love and went on a hunt for one.. next thing I knew.. I'm collecting more than just the a kerrii!! Lol 😂

Need some advice, please. Bought 2heart shaped plants ar grocery store. We're healthy looking and in a bed of moss. Out of curiosity I took one out and it has lots of healthy looking roots. Now how do I transplant? Do I leave the leaf above the ground or just barely leave it above the ground. Yje other leaf has changed color and looks pretty sad. Any info greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

I bought a Hoya Kerrii from Etsy and I repotted it immediately. After four days, the new leaf that was already in it fell off and the second new leaf next to it turned yellow. How come?????
It must’ve been in a lot of shock, from being in a dark box for days and then uprooted and replanted to a new pot. How’s your soil? Is it well draining? And I’m sorry for my very late response to your comment. How is it now?

I've heard these plants are epiphytes. So could you mount this on an appropriately sized piece of bark?
Didn't know there are so many varieties of Hoya Kerrii. I had bought just the hearts (green n variegated), but they didn't take root. Am looking out for the hoya kerrii plants.
Initially I thought there were only 4 kinds and of course as we learn more about them more shows up lol. Spring is the best time to get a hold of most of them 🤗.
Oh and I haven’t tried rooting a Hoya kerrii cutting.

Hi, I would recommend to check out Hoya groups on FB such as: Hoya lovers FB store, Ric and Swiffer’s Hoyas and Hoya Haven BST.
There’s a lot of collectors there that sell and sometimes trade collectible Hoyas. 🤗💚
What’s your opinion on the single leaf rooted cuttings that are being sold? I’ve had one for a few weeks and am worried that i wasted my money.
I would check if the leaf came with a piece of a stem, coz for Hoyas to be able to grow into a plant needs to be have a piece of the stem with them. Specially Hoya kerrii, they’re commonly sold a a rooted leaf cutting for Valentine’s Day or because it is cute. Let me know how it is.

What do you do with misshapen leaves?
Nothing really, I let it be. But I noticed it happens when there’s inconsistencies in humidity and providing nutrients/watering.
I hope you have the spot in a propagation box
It’s on my bookshelf that is against an east facing glass door on top of a heating mat, it gets supplemental grow light after the sun sets. In a room with humidity from 75-90%. You think it’s enough? 🥺😱🙏🏾
