Clear, concise, succinct... excellent style. Super easy to follow and no excess. My friend, your videos are how they should all be - very pro. Keep your own style & originality going (love the writing bit). Peace. mush love.
Heads up - I have tried a variation of this recipe using aspen shavings instead of the wood used in this video. Aspen will not absorb the same amount of water as pellets will, so I’m working on using about 1-2 cups less for my situation.
I bought some growing kits, spore prints, lion’s mane spawns, liquid culture and psychedelic products from an online supplier and they are affordable and discreetly delivered
Yo just found your videos. They're sick. Very well made and easy to follow. I just became interested in at-home mushroom growing during quarantine and Ill be sure to check back for new videos! Keep it up :)
From what I've heard spent coffee grounds aren't very acidic as you think. According to people I've seen making compost they call it brown filler like old leaves.
I'll have a couple fruiting videos coming out soon. Just put the Lions mane and pink oysters into fruiting conditions. Buttttt I could probably do a better job on ways to induce fruiting, good idea!
Hey Jarred , been missing your videos , hope all is well there . In case no one has told you , that sub. was @ the Perfect Field Capacity . be careful w/ spawn that colonizes so quick , some mold and other unwanted creepy stuff acts very quick too w/ such great conditions , ask me why i know , ha ha ha ! Peace !
Thank you for the love! I'm missing growing and filming, and the people on here have been so amazing! I miss you all! I'll be back, I promise. It's just been a period of my life that is busier than any other, with so much change. As things settle down, I'll be back. And thanks for the great advice, I'l def. keep that in mind!
This is wair I am supposed to say something so what got you interested in Mycology, and how did you figure out what to us,differing from site stuff! Pink oyster cool project Tasty Project.
I think the thing that got me interested was a story I heard on the radio a few years ago about how mycelium helps plants communicate with each other and share resources. Since then I've been digging deeper and deeper into mycology. My video ideas just come from me thinking about "what can I try that hasn't been done before". I'm always curious about trying new things, so I figured I'd share my ideas and lessons learned along the way. Thanks for watching!

Can I cultivate king oyster with that mix of substrate?
Yep! I have, seems to work great.
Maybe a video on ways to induce fruiting once the colonization process has finished. Eg. just waiting, chilling, maybe some other ways.

PS- I have had glass bowls and plates explode in the pressure cooker
How did the fruiting on this one turn out?
I'm on the third flush! The tub is a little too small though, the fruits keep running into the lid. Really tasty fruits though!
Just turn the bag upside down.. with all the folds. Water should not get in
