Tiny and Kandi were Tamika's childhood friends from school that went on to form a group along with her sister. That's what you're seeing here.

I was thinking the same. Although they clown and shade each other it’s the friendship shade. Seems like the energy comes down when Tocha enters the room.

their energy as a trio is everything! i remember watching their unsung episode, and it was talked about how kandi and tameka were the closest out of the group at one point until the rift occurred, so it’s so refreshing to see them back on one accord again.
I can tell they’re already becoming close. The little nudges I’ve seen in their recent interviews

I downloaded their “essentials” on Apple Music to share with my daughter who is now a fan. I miss music like this, actual talent, back when you had to be able to actually sing to sing.

Xscape would've never existed without Latocha, seeing as though she Created the Group. Kandi was an addition, and always wanted to be the front runner. Hope Kandi's happy now... Even though she said she'd never get back with any of the Ladies. It took JD to make a deal with CK for Kandi to "Boss Up" and get the Group back together. The Truth is, Kandi doesn't want to be Exposed for who she truly is, what she's done, and partakes in now. Where was Kandi & Tiny during the So So Def Tour? It took The Scott Sisters to hold it down, and they did!

Another hair video, love it! To know they were rocking natural styles, I wish the public would revert back to this. I am perfectly content with those wearing weave, but there is something so extremely satisfying and refreshing to see how they would curl, braid and/or straighten their natural hair into a cute style. Might be the lone ranger, but one could dream lol this was such a blissful period in entertainment - the '90s

Man I love Xscape! They’re not only my favorite female group, but one of my favorite groups period. All of them can sing! I hate that the Scott sisters drama has splintered the group but that’s nothing new in entertainment. Looks like they’re doing well as a trio so I’m happy about that.

Tiny was always my favorite in the group so I love all of her hairstyles back in the day. When Kandi mentioned the peroxide to dye her hair and made me think of middle school because I use to do the same thing too 😂until I started rinsing my hair in high school😊you couldn’t tell me nothing. My favorite hair rinse colors were blue/black and Maroon. The only thing was when you wore your white t-shirt and when I would sweat the rinse would be on the back of my shirt😮

I vividly remember Tiny’s orangey blonde dyed hair from the ‘98 era, when she would wear the swoop style a lot like in the ‘My Little Secret video. It was so unique like her signature look.
