Voron V0 kit from Formbot
Pretty happy with the kit overall. Hopefully no further hiccups during the assembly.
1. The power switch is basically not suitable. Will probably use a c14 switch instead.
2. They forgotten to include the panels!
3. I top up USD40ish for a Dragon hotend instead of the V6.
4. They ran out of LDO stepper motors and i agreed to have them replaced with another brand. They did add another PEI steel plate for this shortcoming though.
5. Ask them to declare a lower value. It saved me a lot of import duty!
6. The KFL08 Bearing is garbage! It came misaligned and stucked in place unable to rotate.

SKR2? Is it Rev A? Those kill the drivers unless you patch it up.

It's an SKR Mini E3 V2. So it's safe :)

Hey, I've just received my kit from Formbot too! I also asked and payed a little bit more for the Dragon hotend, but they forgot to add the motors. When i contacted them, they told me that they swapped the motors with the dragon (which i payed for both). What did they tell you for your missing panels? :)

Well they asked if I could source the panels locally and they would pay back for the cost but there are no seller locally that sells the kit. And it would be more expensive to custom order them. At the end formbot send the panels to me separately. As for the motors, they swapped the LDO ones with another brand called Anfod. To compensate for this shortcoming they included one extra pei magnetic steel plate. Did you confirmed with them on any these arrangement? Response from them are super slow and it's like one response per day.

such a small print volume seems like a waste of all those components

yea i agree with you to a certain extend. the v0 is the smallest printer from vorondesign. despite the small size it is quite a capable printer. well the plus side on a small sized printer is that it uses a lot less energy to heat up the bed. also since this is an enclosed printer, it takes lesser time to heat up the internal temperature for printing ABS material. the small frame makes up for a rigid build and it prints pretty fast too.
