Agreed. And I'm not a native speaker, so I'm not as nice as you tend to be about it as a native, either. ;D You have some of the best pronounciation and familiarity with the language that I've ever heard in a person from Japan (or any part of East Asia). I've studied Japanese for a few years, and there is a _leap_ between that and english. Pronounciationwise, grammarwise and everything. You have to think aaall different, and then convince your mouth to cooperate. x-x Not to mention what other people are saying - the 'correct pronounciation' differs more than in most languages with english. So much so that in schools over here we're made to choose and stick to a regional dialect, so they can grade our pronounciation xD

Honestly, as an english speaker for 28 years, I'm only just now realizing how similar the words "tourist" and "terrorist" sound. That's totally not something to get upset over, people in america sound like theyre saying all kinds of crazy stuff, that's what accents are!
My husband got pulled over in a rental car by military police....of course his drivers license was from a different state than the car,but instead of saying, " Oh, I'm a tourist." It came out "I'm a terrorist." 😬😂 luckily the cop had a good sense of humor!

Hi George, Squidward is the name of a character from the American kids show Spongebob, google tells me it was translated to イカルド in Japanese translation. Also, America has failed me. The teriyaki burger is something I now need to try.
@@LumiLunar I'm pretty sure Rudo comes from Eduwarudo, which is the Japanese pronunciation of Edward. So Ikarudo is essentially a direct translation of Squidward.
Also, George looked pretty confused at how Tentacruel was drawn when it evolved, so it's worth pointing out that that face is from "Handsome Squidward", from an episode of SpongeBob where Squidward's face was badly injured, and the injury comically made him look more handsome than usual.
Funny thing is, George actually caught a lot of the jokes in the video, more than a lot of other English reactors! So many jokes, like the "Someone's cutting onions" joke went over so many people's heads, but George understood it. Your English is very fluent and very clear, and I am super impressed! You're amazing and really fun to watch!
Here in Portugal there's no teriyaki burgers. Our Mcdonalds works like this: they insert something new...people love it....they take it off the menu like...forever. 😑

Not even during the Olympics? At Maccas, they have in the past, brought out a burger for lots of different countries/ continents (the flavours of the games). I've never seen a mcteryiaki burger on the menu but I'd never say it would not happen. It would probably be called a mcjapan or a mcasia though.
Lmao🤣🤣 Are you really going to name your cute ferrets coke and pepsi?🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 26:11
Pokémon and One Piece raised me
The part on Ghibli was super interesting ! I'll add it to my random knowledge box haha. I love your videos and your chillness. if I may have a suggestion if you do something like this in the future, it'd maybe be a good idea to have the main video full screen and yourself on small screen, and switching when you react :) Thank you for the content anyway !
Gold and Silver are my favorite generation because they introduced Umbreon, my favorite Pokemon.
On 8:57 she named him Squidward because one of America's popular cartoons is Spongebob that first aired in 1999, and in that show, one of the characters there is named Squidward, even though Squidward is a squid and not an octopus, it's still the same...kinda.
love your videos george! keep up the great work!
The way she said "Squidward" its making myself suffer👄bwuahahaha
I only know English and I still say “melt” incorrectly (according to everyone else). I blame the fact that I learned most of my words from books.
I love how you’ve embraced the eye roll. 🤣😂
I learned to catch Groudon, Kyogre and Rayquaza with great balls. It’s a grind for sure, and you’ll blow a shit load of cash on great balls, but it’s better to save the master ball for Latias or Latios, cause that’s basically the only way you’re gonna catch them.

Thats the most passive way I've seen a Shroomish utter "fk off" to someone
I just love your haircut.
your English is perfect, i love hearing you talk. your videos are really amazing! 💕
Teriyaki is the only reason I still in Japan 😂😂
Hi from America we don’t have teriyaki Berger here in America
8:57 squidward is a chahracter from the amarecan nickeloidion cartoon "spongebob".
I would catch Kyogre with a Great Ball to color coordinate.
I loved this video and the last reaction you did to Jaiden Animations Japan video! Your ferrets are just downright adorable!!
My logic in Pokémon when I was a kid: S P A M P O K É B A L L !!!
ghibli is a mystery, some say it like jaiden and some others even pronounce it like "jibli" xD
also jaiden is absolutely amazing, she never fails to make me smile or laugh ♥
Who's disliking this guy's videos? He's so nice!

Perfect eye roll..
Also, to keep y'all updated the 10 years thing which I said I'll be using in the last video..
I told it to my 10 year old nephew and he's still freaking out about it..
And I've still not told him that he's not rabbit ... 🙄🐇🤔
Also she didn't do the Japanese, she got one of her friends to speak it for her because she thinks she would do terribly (I believe I'm not 100% sure)
I think so too :)
This Nuzlocke video is something that the pokemon anime will never be and its so sad
Ok, ok, I got it. Your smile is brighter than the sun so I subscribed.
Yesss… Silver was my childhood. This made me really want to play.
Your reaction was really engaging. I wish you did more reactions from Jaiden! I hope she sees this one day if she hasn’t already. I’ve also never been so emotional about Pokémon before now. Lol I’ve followed Jaiden for a while, but this is my first time seeing her Nuzlocke video. I have to say… when Teriyaki was about to showdown for the final battle, I legit had tears in my eyes for his fallen comrades. Lol
Good job Jaiden! And good job George! This is exactly the kind of content I love to see.🤗
Kon'nichiwa George! Would you do a video about reviewing "weird" Japanese commercials, please?
Honestly I just clicked on this because I liked that Jaiden Video a lot. Then I heard your laughter in the intro. Instantly sold, very sympathetic, 10/10
You don't have to apologize if your pronunciation is wrong, you're allowed to make mistakes c: As a native English speaker, I can understand you perfectly. Trying to speak Japanese, I sound like I'm speaking some alien language pft Teriyaki is the best damn pokemon, I don't care what anyone says. For the burger, it's not sold at our McDonalds in Florida but it looks really good! I really need to get back into the pokemon games but I just can't stay focused long enough to finish them. I also get super lost every time I play them. Maybe one day.
This is the first time I’m seeing one of your videos, your English is immaculate. Also, the US has failed me once more. As a McDonald’s employee and customer of McDonald’s, I have never heard of a teriyaki burger, and now I must try it, even if eating the beef causes me discomfort.
