Against the zerg I'm not sure why he didn't immediately throw down a pylon and start cannoning the hatchery when he found it building in his natural. That's what I expected him to do and he just attacked it with a probe instead. If he had taken that out, the zerg had no counterattack.

Floating 1.5k resource due to 1 base larva. Proxy base not only solves the issue but also puts toss on a timer instead. I wonder if you can’t get void rays out in time
@@JFox4587 yea probably, if he scouts and rallys back home youre kinda cooked, maybe not, and you also only have like 30 seconds to breach and kill the stargate pylon. id probably try it, but i am not taking the risk of giving a cannon rusher MMR.

@@JFox4587 ive done it on the toss third base once with success, its much more hidden on some maps with minimal rush distance change. theres a lot of counters, and u need to bum rush the stargate pylon, but when you cannon rush you usually dont full wall for a while. also a diamond cannon rusher has no thought processes of their own, theyre gold in a macro game so expecting them to scout or know what to do is giving too much credit. it seems the more resources they put into containing you the better it is. 1 cannon 1 pylon, not worth at all, 5 cannons its potent.

nah, it seems Harstem forgets to have and do an actual follow-up on the cannon rush. So if you just keep playing, you may* win against the Canon rushes...(?)
He's hoping his opponent makes a blunder against cannons and walks like 3 probes into them, or tries to attack a nest in a chokepoint with everything including workers. Smart players just won't deal with it cuz it's not scary if it can't shoot a nexus or mineral line. That's 1k+ minerals just being ignored and there's nothing our dear Captain can do about it.
Gosh those shield batteries are awful. I believe if you're at the point in cannon rush where you need shield batteries, you're either winning or already failed and need to cut the losses. Cannon rushing the second hatch in the natural was a huge waste. Zerg just cancels the hatch and you get nothing, for your everything. Building proxy gate/robo is very questionable because you already are a thousand minerals behind. You could have tried to transition to a proxy build but you didn't even cut the losses with the cannons. You could have build that gate/robo/cybercore at home and still be in the game, albeit on the backleg. Cannons. It's cannon rush, cannons are your army! Use them offensively! Sprinkle pylons and cannons in the enemy main, your only concern is keeping a drone alive and timely cancels. If successful, you're have cannons up, blasting, before the opponent scrambled any units. If unsuccessful, you're are either outdone completely by getting your probes sniped, or win an advantage/recoup losses by having the opponent dedicate workers/resources to counter.
Funny joke but my local casino would probably be happy if you took the chips home. They don't allow you to play with chips removed from the table. You can't even go cash them in yourself. If you take chips to the cash booth yourself they won't honor the value and if you take them back to the table they'll say you can't play with them anymore. So you'll just loose your cash if you take them home.
I mean, that why chips exist. Technically, you lose your cash the moment you exchange it for chips. And it's up for the casino or whatever other authority to give anything back. Honestly chips-bound-to-table sounds boring as hell. No flashiness to it.

Like the video demonstrates, yet those were far from cannon rush all-inns. Just placing pylons in the enemy main forces them to pull workers, already paying up in eco lead. I would build a cyber core and gates at home and only build units after warp gate research is done, or if threatened by a proxy.
