Bulu bhai, what do you think about the low height of exhaust in Himalayan. They are claiming higher water wading capacity but has gone with short exhaust. I live in a flood prone area where water levels reach 2-3ft. Even cities like Bangalore, Mumbai, etc. are also facing floods these days with water levels going above 3ft. While riding a bike with short exhaust through flooded regions we need to be mindful to keep the engine running. If engine stalls then you are doomed. Many people in my region are buying X-pulse considering it's higher exhaust pipe level. Most of the ADVs I have seen are having exhaust pipe kept at a height. I wonder why RE has decided to keep such a short exhaust in the new Himalayan which is even a downgrade from the existing Himalayan.
@@SrcTrustMeBro I live in a flood prone area where we experience floods every year for almost a month. I have used several motorcycles through flooded roads. One thing I have observed is that higher exhaust pipe is a must have feature for such conditions because if engine stops midway while passing through flooded regions then there are higher chances that it won't start until you drain water from exhaust. So you need to pull the bike through the water till you reach dry ground. I have seen similar issues in Bangalore also during floods. In case of KTMs you can see underbelly exhaust in Duke series for adventure series they have provided higher exhaust pipe. Why they have to do that if it was not an issue.
