Anyone who is saying anything bad about my brother, my parents, and my brothers girlfriend should be ashamed of themselves. We are GRIEVING. My brother was good kid he doesn’t even go anywhere or does anything to anyone. The first time he decided to go to a party in a while he is MURDERED. Ik how it feels to lose a parent. I grew up with my dad having a mom and the way he described her was so amazing, he always got kinda sad when people bring they’re mothers knowing he doesn’t have one, Ik that I wasn’t the one but it hurt me so badly knowing that he couldn’t grow up with a mom HE WAS YOUNG. My bsf also grew up without a mom and he’s sad whenever I bring up how cool my mom is and he’s my best friend so I avoid I want people to know to cherish the moments that you have with ur loved ones bc u never know also MY BSF WAS A BABY WHEN SHE DIED anyone who says I didn’t need to comment this what’s the point of reading it huh? (gravity). Of course there are a few exceptions...dehydration, or a condition known as dry-eye syndrome, or maybe she _was_ just 'putting on a show' for the camera.

So awful. So many families end up dealing with multiple tragedies which is catastrophic & imposes a lifetime of trauma. Unreal. This holiday weekend has war zone like numbers. Frankly, one could argue you might be safer in war torn Ukraine as at least there you can have a gun to defend yourself. New Mayor Brandon Johnson doesn’t want to “demonize the kids” despite many of them committing crimes & apply soft on crime policies for hardened criminals which they exploit. The criminals smell blood in the water & are laughing at everyone because they’ve been given tacit approval to keep reoffending with little to no consequences.
Despite the pols implementing proactive “peacekeepers” in Chicago, the holiday weekend was hyper violent nonetheless. What was if? Something like 40 plus shootings & 9 murders? Insane. Instead of implementing solutions to address root causes all the pols do is blame & politicize the issue. It’s going to keep getting worse. Crime is ripping apart the city & neighborhoods. Stores are closing & jobs are being lost. Many are fleeing. It’s a catastrophic spiral. Meanwhile migrants are flooding in taking away valuable resources & funds away from neighborhoods. The politicians are feckless & misguided. It’s got to hit a breaking point. Just when you think it’s hit rock bottom, things continue to get worse.
Be safe everyone. It’s all just unconscionable. It’s sad & tragic. People are dying. Families are being ripped apart. Neighborhoods are getting destroyed. The pols just point fingers & sow division. Both sides dig into radical partisan sides. “it’s the guns.” “no, it’s not.” How about addressing the crime & root causes. It’s not the guns. We have a serious mental health problem but a severe violence & crime problem. Soft on crime policies are just exacerbating things. It’s freaking insane.
All the money going to the illegals, should be going to the people who live in this country. Our country, especially the big cities, are in deep trouble. And I agree with you on the guns, it is not the guns causing the problems, it is the people and mental health is a huge issue. Do you know anything about Bolingbrook, Illinois? It's a predominately white city. According to the U.S. census, blacks make up 18% of the population. This has nothing to do with the neighborhood. This happened because of the people who moved into the neighborhood.
It looks like a decent neighborhood. But what does the neighborhood have to do with it? There was a shooting at a rented building for a 16 yo birthday party in "good" neighborhood in Alabama. A rented out building. All ethnic groups were there and shot and some still in the hospital.
