Superb vlog! Great watching the festival journey with The Alt Couple. I only went to 2 festivals, Reading Rock 1980 and the second Donington Monsters of Rock 1981. They were mental and the best times of my life!
Fantastic vlog, thanks for sharing. It looks like Camping Plus was not too crowded (I hear it was used as an 'overflow' campsite) - and conveniently close to the East car-park. I was lucky enough to get out of the East car park in just over two hours.

@TheAltCouple awesome time. With the heat we stayed there till around 4 when there was no shower queue. Smoking cigars reading my book drinking Gin with awesome neighbours. Recognised your boyfriend and his distinctive look instantly. My son saw you recording.. Was a long walk to the village as you said. We never bothered in the day..the walks alot easier coming back in the early hours bladdered. Great vlog and I can now prove to my wife that's where I was😆
We ended up staying in the gazebo for ages and the heat was just too much. We were playing drinking games while also drinking lots of water in between 😂 My other half always stands out a mile. It’s how most people find us in a crowd 😂 The village was so far away. Gutted it wasn’t closer. Glad you enjoyed the vlog 🤘🏼
Hey guys! Good video, thank you! I was seating behind you on the way there for some time thinking should I honk or what 😀 then over took you. Got your rear window with horny honk signs on my dash cam 😜. I was on my bike with Download’s doggy at the back on top luggage box. I suspect we where in the same orange camping lot and you was passing by my tent with Iron Maiden flag opposite big blue container on the way to Arena at least for 4 days 🙂. At Bring Me The Horizon gig you where just a bit back from the middle corner of the right barrier section. I was right in the middle corner of the left barrier section. Architects same story. My black cup is showing up few moments in your video from behind a taller guy 🙂. At Alter Bridge I was in the same place, you on the left end of those barriers. At Motionless In White you where a bit left from the centre, we bumped in to you with a friend as we was on the way to our position. We ended up in the mirrored position on the right. May be little bit closer to the stage. When mosh started we where right on the back edge of it. On the way back to camping on Bring Me The Horizon night I was walking literally 6-7 meters away from you on the right and a bit behind singing with the rest of the crowd 😃. I’m seriously jealous. You managed to get in the front row at Metallica’s 2nd set. Well done guys!🤘 And I’m so happy for you finding a treasure pick after a gig! I wanted to see Placebo on Opus stage so had to leave my desired position at main stage plus decided to see it from a different perspective this time as it was my 3rd time seeing Metallica. So was standing just outside the round screens circle on the left. Regarding the dust... After those amazing 5 days of my life it took me a while to find my bike at the parking. I only managed to recognized it by using the fob 🤣. It was just a shape of a bike in a solid brownish-grey colour. Spend another 40 minutes trying to clean it with toilet paper and left over drops I had in my water pouch just to the state so I can seat on it, touch the handles and see where I'm going. That was fun 🤣🤣🤣. On top of all that I did bumped in to you few more times trough those 5 days. So believe it will be safe to say: “We rocked together!”🤘🤘🤘 Peace, love and heavy metal to all! And see you next year. ✌❤🤘
