You should be able to just turn up, there's a section of the campsite called 'Camp Loner' which is where all the solo campers go. Everyone is really friendly and welcoming, but there are Facebook groups set up by these people to try and get to know people before the festival as well, so nobody feels like a stranger

Usually there's no real limitations. The website usually says something like "enough for personal consumption, but as long as there's no glass they don't normally stop anyone. This year though there seems to be a rule that you can only bring 1 crate and 1 bottle of spirit, but how they're going to police that is anyone's guess. If anyone does stop you bringing something in though, there's a Co-Op on site that sells a limited range of stuff

Last year we went for Blue. It's a bit of a walk up the hill to get there, but the ground is fairly flat and it's not too noisy
