I should go back and visit, I was with the opening Crew for the Calgary Tower back in 1968. Chef Barry Jackson, Worked the summer of 1967 at Chateau Lake Louise. Great memories.
th-cam.com/video/KkVO4vNxLEw/w-d-xo.html hello! I saw this youtube video about the construction of the Calgary Tower in 1967/1968. Thought I would share.. that's over 5 decades of great memories! That's awesome, sir! :)
Amazing view and sound in Calgary. ( Including the vibes as well) Will definitely visit there in the near future. Thanks for sharing, 🙂 New sub from the Philippines
Lots of people say "oh, what a beautiful city"... If I can ask, where exactly do you see the beauty? I can see just another concrete and glass North American city without soul...
Great video 📹 👍 I haven't been downtown in a while. The painted path way looking at the skyrise, where was that shot from? I want to explore my city ❤💕
The video tour of Calgary downtown could be much better and informative, to be honest. Lots of nice and beautiful spots are missing, especially the Bow river riverside which is a part of downtown. Add Ex.: Peace Bridge, Prince's Island Park, and so on
Calgary sure has a nice downtown! that I find it to be so amazing to walk around in but damn it can be scary most of the times since there can be some kind of shit that will happen. Like crimes that will happen over at downtown! that would either be some kind of crime happening like fights that I have seen over at the downtown mall over two people arguing Over the money and even there was about two fights over at the city hall area and damn the area can also be scary with the homeless people that I would seen some of them. Get arrested and I hear some of them throw a freak out which they sure can be crazy while I have even encountered some other crazy people over at downtown just screaming at the Top of their lungs! like damn I do got to say it can be such a nice city but damn it sure can be crazy with the homeless people and the crimes that can happen over at downtown And even it's amazing mall.
Where is every body ? The city is vacant and abandoned to what it used to be. A concrete jungle so cold and lifeless.. Most likely because you can not afford to even park downtown. Really sad.
Yeah downtown wasn't busy these days. But hopefully if we have incoming events like Calgary Stampede then it will bring the vibrant city life back! 2022 Calgary Stampede will begin at 1:30 PM on Friday, July 8 and ends on Sunday, July 17 (All times are in Mountain Time)
Where is homeless people, where is the people which smoking and using drugs it s really dirty city specially in the downtown you feel like a zombie city you can't find normal people easily. Some of population are using drugs and normal people are full of stress therino life.
3:10 that Gatorade landed perfectly
Haha i didnt notice that
Calgary is One of the most Beautiful Cities to Live in an the people are very Friendly down to earth. Love Calgary Alberta ❤
Alberta is like Texas, but with cooler, bluer skies. This walk is very relaxing. I'm not from Calgary, but I miss it.
thank you for sharing your opinion i have been to Calgary but have not been to Texas

Wow, I heard stories that the downtown is one of the most dangerous areas there, but I'm happy it's wrong it looks amazing
I think there are some areas around downtown to avoid, just like any other places. But overall, we had a great walk that day.
I live and work downtown everyday. I walk alone everyday and night. I rarely feel unsafe.
Ganda Naman diyan ❤️

God, I miss Calgary so much ♡

You watched a short tour of a few blocks in a business district. Calgary has the most green space of any North American city.
Nice video, what day/time?? Looks like it might be a Sunday morning?

Sideways and streets look deserted not as much pedistrian and car traffic.
It looks like a Sunday morning, also keep in mind this was very early spring time so it's still cold outside

I live in Calgary and work full time as a security supervisor. Advance to night time and the downtown look completely flips to a homeless drug den.
Left mayors/city councils + left policies = chaos, drugs and homelessness
What is the potential for finding a job in calgary? Are there many unemployed? How are the house rents? Can someone who knows please answer?

I don't see any stores down town in Calgary. Why?

one quesion only. Where is people? 😀
Is it downtown or a deserted city, I see more buildings than people. weird.
Where is everyone
So nice seeing the streets clean of homeless drug addicts. Cant say the same for Victoria!!!
lol there’s a reason the video was recorded at that time go down there and you will see it’s just as bad

He probably did it early on a Sunday morning in the cold. You should have realized that you idiot.
It's empty because of the covid commies and their jackboots
at work, they got lots of jobs in Calgary so no one is walking around loitering and wasting their good time.
looks so bleak and where are all the people?
Early on a Sunday morning and its cold out. Duh !
A little commentary would be nice
We're going to try doing that on our next walking tour. Thanks for the comment! :)
Where is high park?

Its on the top level of an old parkade.😂
Some streets should become pedestrianized. Cars are too loud.
There are. This guy did a very short tour of a few blocks.
Will Calgary be safe for Asian ? In term of racism
